Is this all that bad!?

So have been pretty good all week and I never exceed my syns. I have cut back on alcohol particularly cider which I love and for the past few days myself and family have planned a trip to the beach including a fish and chip lunch.
I skipped the sweets and ice cream and tucked into a even tastier fish and chip lunch because I felt like it won't be that bad as I am still under syns for the week. I also had another treat and had 1 bottle of my favourite fruit cider then had diet drink.....

I worked out including the cider today I've had about 50 syns :eek: but this week altogether including today I've had 70 as I tried to cut back to accommodate today's lunch! Is this acceptable? Should I be overly worried about the scales? I've never done anything like this before?..
 
Some people have their syns weekly. So start with 105 and deduct as you go. It works for some and not others. I've done it myself just fine and it works but I don't make a habit of it. How much this affects you is impossible to say and will depend upon how close you are to WI. That said a weekly total of 70 is well within range so I wouldn't worry too much. If it's the day before WI you may see a negative effect but it will only be temporary and will be down to volume if food rather than the actual syns. At the end of the day if you enjoyed it then that's what's important. Life doesn't stop for SW!!
 
I'm glad you wrote this as I have found it very helpful. I myself just started as well and went over my syns a lot today so going to try and reel it in up to my weigh in day on Thursday x
