What size are your jeans?

That is an interesting read, I'm only 5ft 2in so always go for Next as I like their fit, I'll go for a size 10 ;)

I hate buying jeans, it's a minefield! I usually buy a 10 but it can vary. I think the girl in the article you linked is trying on jeans that are wrong for her shape though so it's going to be hard to find ones that are a good fit.

Ha, that article is spot on. I hate the fact that I ALWAYS have to try on everything because I cannot rely at all on the size on the labels. I wish there was a universal sizing system. I wouldn't care what size I ended up being, as long as I knew that I could buy that size in any shop and it would always fit.

I have clothes in my wardrobe that are all the same size (because they all fit me!), and yet the labels range from a 10 to an 18!

I have a pair of Topshop size 14 jeans that I've been trying to squeeze into for the past 7 years no exaggeration! The day they fit comfortably will be such a happy day:)

I have everything from a 14 to an 18 dependent on style, shop and if I'm having a bloated day or not. I love Primark's skinny jeans, the 16's have always been too tight, but the 18's are very loose waisted so I can't win really....

I would say I am a comfy size 12 in most high street stores. When it comes to tesco, asda, next I am a comfy size 10! Very annoying, I wish there was some kind of measurement rule that all shops have to stick by. I cant even fit in a River Island Size 12 and 14's are very very snug.. What about the size 8's in there?!

I'm a size 18 in jeans but I can only seem to get ASOS Curve ones that fit my shape well enough to not look like a sack of s**t tied around the middle and no camel toe! :/

For some reasoon the vast amount of jeans, even plus sized ones seem to be low rise and reeealllly unflattering!

[/COLO
I have dropped from a 56" waist and always looked like a baby elephant to a 30" jean size and now have the definition that I had when I was in my twenties and I feel great :D

If I find jeans that fit at the hip they are too big at the waist and I really really can't do low rise jeans (or any trousers). More than a couple times I've just added a new button and just do them up as a wrap over instead :D
I have some that are size 26 and fit and some 28s that I can't even get over my bum :D

I'm somewhere between a size 18 and 20 in jeans - size 18 is too small and size 20 is way too big so I can't win. It's so hard to find the perfect fit jeans though :(

I vary between 22 and 24 depending on the shop - one is too tight and the other needs a belt to stop them feeling like they're sliding down!!! It's so frustrating as most of my weight is on bum and tummy so I still have a gaping gap at the waistline!

In a 16 but finding good fitting jeans is a minefield!

Size 14 in New Look & Primark (only stretch)

I own a pair of size 6 jeans that are my goal - as this is the size I was wearing when I met my husband 9 years ago.

Really want to be in them by next Christmas

Size 14 in most shops. But I tend to find that I'm size 14 waist but size 12 legs. The joys of being apple shaped! I'm size 14-16 top. I tend to avoid jeans for this reason and stick to leggings and tunics/long tops.
The strange thing is that when I was a stone and a half lighter about 5 years ago I was wearing size 14 jeans then and still am now.

My favourite jeans are from Matalan. I'm a size 20 there and I get the short fit ones (I'm 5ft 4). They have a slight stretch and are really comfy.
