HELP!!! Breakfast ideas without using any HEX

Hi People,
I am having a real problem. Everyday for the past 3 weeks I have been using up my HEX at breakfast time leaving me rather annoyed. I always really fancy ryvita or cheese in an afternoon and because I have used both HEX I am becoming a little deprived and I know its a fast road to falling of the bandwagon!

Any ideas for breakfast that will fill a very greedy person without using both HEX would be much appreciated.

Thanks! XOXO

Homemade rice pudding.
Cook some rice, once cooked simmer it with a bit of water, splash of milk and sweetener to taste, once simmering add and flavours you want, I usually add nutmeg and cinnamon then add about half a beaten egg and stir to cook the egg. I usually add loads of chopped fruit to it. Filling tasty and other than a splash of hexa milk, its free! :)

I have a bowl full of raspberries, topped with shapes 0% yogurt and a mini meringue on top. Feels really naughty to have in the morning but its totally free and very filling :)

At the weekend when i have more time i have my HEB with eggy brown bread with baked beans - very yummy too x

Have you look at the breakfast threads we have on this forum? There is a sticky in the recipe section devoted to breakfast ideas and ahuge thread a bit further down this board called "Whats for breakfast" where people post what they are going to eat that day :)

I have been having a SW cheese scone and a Mullerlight for breakfast most days and this is pretty much HEX free (almost!)

Scones - mix 4 eggs with a packet of smash (any flavour, though I like the cheese the best for this one), a tub of fat free cottage cheese, a tsp of mustard powder, 2 tsp of baking powder and a couple of finely chopped spring onions. Add salt and pepper and a little bit of water if needed to get a similar consistency to pastry.

Roll into scone sized patties and sprinkle some grated cheese on top. Bake in a 200 oven for 25 mins. I make them on a Sunday and keep them in an airtight container in the fridge and they are still perfectly fine on Friday.

I use less than 40g of mozzarella on the 10-12 scones this makes so it barely comes anywhere close to using up your daily HEX allowance as each scone has 5g maximum and you're allowed 40g mozzarella per day.

Ooo I'm making them cheese scones thanks!! I'm limited as I hate porridge n all that stuff. The only ceral I like is weetabix n I'm not a huge fan of milk! If i vor up at stupid o Clock i could make Omelettes but Thats a Chor lol! Xxx

Meringues are usually synned? Or do you make sugar free ones yourself?

I use the tescos mini ones that are 1 syn. Tthey are defo with it. Esp the strawberry flavoured ones x

All breakfast problems can be solved by a good old frittata. Cook loads of superfree veg up in a frying pan with frylight, add 8 beaten eggs and cook til its amost set, then finsih the top off in the grill. Serves 4 hungry people. You can microwave a portion in the AM for about 2 mins, add a snackpot of beans (1 min in the mircowave) Breakfast in 4 mins flat!

Or, Poached Eggs and Kippers/Smiked Haddock

Hi Guys!!
Thanks your all amazing!!
loads of yummy sounding stuff going on here some which I have thought about (frittata) and others i never would of done (rice pudding!)
The frittata... how long would it last in the fridge? Thinking i could have some for breakkie one morning n lunch the next day etc.
And the scone sound lush!! Will be aking these tomorrow to have for an afternoon snack!!!

Something with eggs!! They're filling. Scrambled eggs with fried mushrooms and tomatoes? Fried eggs with fried mushrooms and low syn sausage? Omelette? Boiled eggs?

Also I have fruit and natural yogurt and save my hexb for a hifi bar with mid morning coffee at work.

The other alternative is that you could try some red or green days, as you get 2 HexAs and 2 HexBs on red and green days.
I have only ever done EE are red and green days easy to do and stick to?

the cheese scones sound lovely n worth a try but r they free on red? Just checked the syn values of smash and there quite high? :( is there a brand ppl use that is lower in sysns? x

I have only ever done EE are red and green days easy to do and stick to?

I think they're easy to stick to, I do a lot of green and I really like it I love veggie products such as quorn mince and linda mcartney sausages, I can't remember the last time I ate real mince or a proper sausage lol they're easy to follow once you get your head around them. Just read the plan in your book until it sticks its what I did

has anyone watched gavin and stacey??? On a red day I wuld feel like Pam (gavin's mum) when shes on the atkins and has 3 steaks to substitute her chips and peas!!!! Actually hilarious but its something I would do just because I could lol

I only like doing red coz i love meat and having my two hex b's! I also have bigger losses on red n i only hav 5lb to target! When im at target I will b goin bak to EE most definitely!

I like fried egg, mushrooms and potatoes - free on ee and could het away with half a hexb on red. I only do this if I have left over cooked potatoes though otherwise too much hard work in the morning.

for a leisurely breakfast you could have a slimming world fry up, bacon, eggs, diced potato, beans, mushrooms the works and its all free

or for everyday i tend to have quinoa porridge, you find it in the aisle that you get couscous from, its a bit like that as in its a little grain that soaks up the water i make this up and then add a bit of milk and a toffee or vanilla muller lite to give it flavour as its pretty much flavourless, and then i sprinkle some cinnamon over the top to
thats free on a green day so i guess if you do extra easy would be free aswell ( just include your hxa milk )
