Have 3 in the slow cooker as we speak. No problem nanny Doreen hope you enjoy them xx
Can I ask, when you put chicken, potatoes etc in slow cooker, do you put liquid in?
I always wanted a rotisserie but can't afford it, it sounds like I can do a whole chicken in the slow cooker just as good, what about a pork joint for pulled pork?

Last weekend I put a chicken in the slow cooker on top of some quartered onions, just so it wasn't sitting in the fat/juices, put half a lemon inside the carcass and put it on low for 6 hours or so. It was so much better than an ordinary roast as the meat was so juicy and tender.
I've also done pulled pork many a time in there. The best one was probably just with a herb/spice rub and left again on low for at least 6 hours. Took all the fat off before hand and it was still really juicy. Have also done it with the SW BBQ sauce and it was still good but I prefer to add my sauce after it's been pulled.
Ah that is why foil balls in bottom of slow cooker.
What joint of pork do you use for pulled pork please.
