My 2lb Challenges...18lbs by Easter

I have a huge weight loss in front of me so I've decided to make myself a series of mini challenges to keep me focused my first being to lose 18lbs by Good Friday which is April 18th. I'll keep reporting back from now until then and keep your fingers crossed for me everyone...I've worked out if I keep this up I will lose 7st 7lbs by my first SW anniversary on Feb 1st 2015 which would be really nice.
 
2lbs off. So far so good.
 
Well done! Keep going, I have set myself some mini targets along the way, would love to join some challenges to have some buddys on here!
 
I don't know whether I didn't write on here last week through shame or forgetfulness but last week I had a 4lb gain (star week) but I'm happy to report I'm almost back on track with a 3.5lb lose this week.
 
Good luck :) Mini goals are a fab idea. I set myself new ones every month. The star weeks are a curse! x
 
Thanks guys for your kind words. I think mini goals are a fab idea when your overall goal is 12st 7lbs it can be intimidating and feel like it will never happen. I've already planned by goals right thru till next February (my one year anniversary with slimming world) and I honestly think without my mini goals I wouldn't be able to do it. I have worked out at 2lb a week till next February I could lose 7st+ which is brilliant but again just over half way for me so when you think I could be doing this for years its exhausting just thinking about it. Mini goals to the rescue lol.
 
Ok I seem to have got lost on my 2lb challenge so heres my stats up to date.

Week 1: 2lb loss
Week 2: 4lb gain
Week 3: 3.5lb loss
Week 4: 2lb loss
Week 5: 1/2lb loss
Week 6: 3.5lb loss

Now I worked this all out with 3 weeks to go I've lost 7.5lb I'm doubtful I will lose 10 1/2lbs in 3 weeks but I am still going to aim for my 2lb a week so hopefully 13 1/2lbs by easter??? :D
 
Week 7: 1lb +

Had big loss last week due to illness so was expecting a gain this week.
 
Week 8: 1.5lb loss and my stone award.
 
Week 9: STS

Which means I lost 14lbs and my goal was 18lbs so I'm happy with that.
 
My NEW 2lb challenge starts today. It's from now till my daughters birthday at August bank holiday so at 2lb a week from now till then I have the potential to lose 36lbs so nearly 2 1/2 stone. Fingers crossed. I've had a good start this week.

Week 1: 3.5lb loss
 
Thank you but unfortunately star week has struck and this past Friday 02/05/14 I gained 3.5lbs. I am expecting another gain this week too. I am just feeling defeated at the moment I need a good kick up the bum. Hoping things will sort themselves out in next week or so and I start feeling better aswell then I can get bk to cooking from scratch and controlling my plan again instead of depending on easy option meals. Come on Jo you can do it!! Lol

Unfortunately I've had three week off plan due to personal circumstances but this is my first week back on plan and hopefully I'll be back on track soon the 2lb challenge helps me I was only a few pound off my target on my last challenge and it was great cos week to week a pound loss doesn't seem a lot but I wanted to lose 18lbs on my last challenge and I lost 14lb which sounds a lot better than a pound a week. Give it a go it may work for you. I wouldn't be able to do it without my challenges.
 
I'M BACK!! Lol

After a rough 10 weeks off plan. I'm so bad. I'm back on track refreshed and determined I know I haven't been on here in a while but I have set myself an updated goal. I hope to lose 14lbs by my daughters birthday on 23rd August at 2lb a week.

Another 5lbs off this week baby!! So that's 9 of the 14 I'm suppose to lose by August 22nd. I'm not going to alter it because next week I may only lose a pound but I am so happy and proud of myself.
