Hi Guys,

I have decided to do the SW speed challange this week:

Must have minimum of 8 superfree foods and 2 superspeed foods a day.

Any one want to join in and see if it help speed up your weight loss?

I will let you know my results next week - I get weighed of a wednesday.

I usually only lose 1lb a week so see if this speeds it up :)
 
Thanks! We're heading up to Yorkshire to see the Tour de France grand depart. I've spent too long in the car already though - I want to be there now!

I'm planning to weigh on Monday and Saturday mornings next week so see what damage I've done and how much I've lost.

I'm going to aim for 5 days of success express so a speed challenge will help too :) I don't have my book anymore as I lent it to a friend so will definitely be looking to you for inspiration!!

Any ideas how much of the food we should eat for it to work?
 
What exactly is the speed challenge? It's a long time since I belonged to SW and I am behind with the terminology. Reading between the lines it sounds as if it's a way to boost losses by eating certain types of food? What sort?

Would love to join in but as you can see I am in the dark!
 
Certain foods with slimming world are classed as speed and superspeed which are supposed to help up your losses. They can be found in your SW book by having an S or SS next to them (or you can google them like I did!!) The speed challenge asks you to eat a minimum of 8 speed foods and 2 superspeed foods per day. I think that's everything? :)

Thanks for that Tink. Just goes to show what a technophobe I am - didn't think to google!

So the idea is to include as many speed and super speed foods as possible with a minimum of 10 a day?

Will review my meal plan in my diary to see how I match up.
