Hi guys, this is my second attempt at Slimming World after leaving for 2 years. This time I really love my group even after the first group and I'm living in a new area with a new burst of life running through me. Perhaps moving area does this for people?

I WI on Wednesdays & I'm currently based in Rugeley :)

My first WI was last Wednesday and I weighed in at 16st 6.5lb, the heaviest I've ever been in my life. I aim for 14st 11lb as my mini goal, this is 10% of my body weight.

Really need the support of anyone who wishes to give it, please subscribed to my page and post a link to yours also :)
I'm also looking for people to befriend who have knowledge of gardening ;)

I'm Renate, I'm 24, born in December and I've been with my partner for 3 years 2 months. I have no children but I'm a godmother to my best friends baby, Izaak. I have 2 guinea pigs called Kenya and Zuki and I currently work at Tenpin Ltd as a receptionist, I plan to leave as soon as I find a better job nearer to my current home.

I'm not yet doing exercise as the house isn't really set up yet from moving, when I do, it'll consider of walking, bike, EA Active 2 on Kinect, Zumba on Kinect and Rower. I also garden and believe me, it feels like a work out plus I eat less when I'm busy in the garden all day.

You live pretty close to me, well i live in cheshire but work in staffordshire (newcastle under lyme) but i do travel down to stafford area too as my tattoo artist has moved there.

I aint good on the gardening, i don't know a weed from a flower half the time :p

Firstly, is that the lead singer of B4S in your display picture?
Secondly I'm the same, I think I might have ripped out a lot of plants thinking they were weeds haha. New at this gardening thing. Yeah, we just moved from Stafford, I used to also live on Sandy Lane in Newcastle (I'm now Sandy Lane in Rugeley haha)

How are you?

Hi again...

I've had some good days, went over syns by about 4 yesterday because i really wanted some custard but didn't prepare in the day by eating less syns. I'm not kicking myself for it though as it's one small bit and I still feel good. I don't feel too well today, I have a headcold anyways but feel light headed today, trying to get some liquid into me... I have a habit of forgetting to drink. Shame the weathers so bad i need to trim the grass and hedge.

First WI is tomorrow!

Yes that is Jaret from BFS. Sandy Lane (newcastle) is only 5 mins walk up the road from place i work, haha you've slowly moving round all the Sandy Lanes in Staffordshire!

4 syns is nothing, you can easily make those up in the week if you want too

True, I've had 5 syns today, muller corner strawberry. However I might go for a nap because my head is pounding :(

I keep saying i'm saving syns for weekend...so far its not happening. Awww, couple paracetamol and a nap should help.

Slept from around 5-7:40, woke up, had a look through some of my SW magazine and found a light meal I made this evening called Bucantini All' Amatriciana.

I took out the stuff we don't have in the cupboard, bacon and pancetta, instead I put normal ham in it. It's like an Italian tomato spaghetti dish. It's nice... I put too much chilli in it and it was choking me at first but soon it was just pleasant haha.

Once my boyfriends back from golfing, we're going to buy our food from Tesco, late but still, I want to spend tomorrow cooking anything I need to cook for dinner.

It's BFS last tour in the UK, I wonder if theres any tickets left.

Managed to get my full shop down from £79 last week to £46 this week :D

Yep, if you want standard tickets there are some left, VIP are totally sold out everywhere (i'm on VIP at Leeds and Birmingham and standard at Manchester and Sheffield and possibly Newcastle if i decide to go there too). Determined to go as many shows as I can, 2 of my 3 most favourite bands together, I can't resist

Good news about the shopping, lowest we can ever seem to get it is £80 and thats with money off coupons!

Hey Panda, just popping in to subscribe to your diary.

If I can help just ask as I do love to garden when I can. Have been tied up with exam prep but after today (i have it this afternoon) I hope to spend more time in mine.
Nice to meet you x

Funny enough it was £49 and I had a load of coupons too... She even put one through that wasn't going through because I did have the right product, was only 25p but still :) How many are you feeding? It's just me and my boyfriend, he is CC and I'm SW and I do the shop based on slimming world and let him fend for himself calorie wise (e.g working out the meals) lol.

Ohh, I don't mind which, I doubt we'd go further than Birmingham though as thats our closest, I used to do all my gigs at Manchester but Daniel knows brum better. I'll ask him about it, see if we can get some before they're gone.

Hi Sarah, thank you for coming, I've never had a garden before and we just moved in together and ave a beautiful huge garden which is already sorted but still needs weeding and looking after, I am hoping to change one or two things whilst I'm here though. I've bought some solar lights for the steps up to the garden and I found a solar mushroom at the pound shop which is really cute in my flower bed. I'm growing some sunflowers for the back fence, to break it up a bit but I'm going to have to cut a small flower bed as it's grass up to the bottom of the fence.

Do you know any tips to get rid of cats? The two next door keep using my garden as a toilet :( Also I seem to have grass weeds growing inside bushes (flower ones) and I have no idea how to remove them without damaging the actual plant!

Hows both your weeks going? On plan?

WI tonight!

!

3 of us, but its always mostly fruit and veg that take up most of it. I'm only one on SW, mum and dad just eat whatever but its usually healthy (ish)

I'm kinda in the middle of all the ones i'm going, manc is closest and the place i know like the back of my hand (i went uni there so know it well), but brum is about same distance but opposite direction, same with sheffield/leeds.

Furthest I've been for a gig is Glasgow. I really wanted to see Bruno Mars when he first came out because I like the energy he has in his songs and he reminds me of MJ a lot tbh lol espcially when you actually see him live, he as the same state presence but on a smaller scale. Sold out everywhere... and in secret my boyfriend bought the tickets off eBay and drove me down there after work, we watched the gig and then he drove us home! We had to stop 3 times because he got so sleepy :/

I had tickets to see Bowling For Soup in 2009, but the day I was meant to go, my very first guinea pig died of a heart attack and I couldn't face going, Zebrahead (my fav band) were supporting them so I was so upset but at the same time knew I would be worse if I'd left Africa without anyone as his partner had died. I later saw Zebrahead at Birmingham, loved them :) They gave drinks out to people from the state lol. You a big music person?

Our budget is £50 a week atm, we try and make it less, I need to give my boyfriend 50% of my wage so he decided, I'd pay for the food and give whatever is left from the 50% to him and he'd pay the rent. The only things I need to fork out for are the single bills that come out, Im paid weekly, he's paid monthly. Means we've always got some money.

WI's at 7pm tonight the we're going to the cinema for our date night. To watch After Earth, (I'm a big Smith family fan) lol

I saw BFS for the first time on that tour, Zebrahead were amazing thats where I first started listening to them. Define big haha...I've so far been 11 gigs this year with another 13 booked (one of which is bruno mars!). I love my music, especially punk rock/pop rock/punk, pop, heavy metal/classic rock. Basically anything thats not dance or rap.

I'm lucky still living with mum and dad they basically pay for most stuff, i just have to pay for internet/car expenses and a few other bills, the rest i usually spend on gig tickets/travel and feeding my craft obsession/computer stuff/books books and a 100 more books haha

Haha, I read your first post on your diary :p
I used to do that a lot when I was younger but then my agoraphobia got worse, I would go gigs on my own when single, completely happy doing so. Jason Mraz was one I went on my own in Manchester, I think my favourite gigs are my guilty pleasure band 'The Rasmus' and I loved Korn and Billy Talent - Billy Talent is my boyfriends passion but I fell in love with them at the gig. Although his voice grated on me (speaking) at first as it's a high pitched Canadian accent, now I think I'm in love with him ;) haha

The only gig I'll be seeing this year atm is Daniels on Saturday IF I can get there :/ lol They're called caught off guard. x

I rarely go gigs on my own, one or more of my 3 friends usually goes cos we all like same music so i never have to go on my own. I've been so many gigs but my favourites are the Green Day gig from the other week, that was just incredible. Patent Pending from April (I only got into them cos they were amazing supporting Bowling For Soup last year), that was probably more due to meeting them (again) and being on barrier having my favourite songs sung at me by Joe, the lead singer, who i'm now kinda friends with, we talk over email sometimes and stuff and he's wrote the writing out for the Patent Pending tattoo I'm getting soon. And Bowling for Soup the last 4 time i've seen them were amazing, met the guys each time, Jaret is lovely, first time i went on VIP tickets i was crying cos he sung turbulence on the VIP Acoustic set, and that song reminds me of grandad and makes me cry and after the set before the photos he hugged me and gave me and kiss and told me "it's ok it upsets me sometimes too", and then second time i'd had my leg tattoo done and asked him if he would sign under the turbulence lyric i have and he said yes but he never got round to doing it, but right before the show started he came and pushed a piece of paper in my hand it it was the entire bands signatures (so obviously i have his signature tattooed on now). I'll shut up now haha

Or not...I can't even remember who i'm seeing this year now haha....Bowling For Soup, Bruno Mars, Alter Bridge, Kids In Glass Houses, Blondie...going Leeds fest on the saturday for Green Day...

Haha I'm not sure I can list all mine, I can't remember them now. Daniel has helped a lot. I won't see Bruno Mars now because the venue I saw him in was tiny and now he's in a big place and it will ruin my experience of that one event... perhaps another tour I'll think about it.

I want to see Papa Roach so bad, they're one of my favourite bands, I'm scared they're going to do the same thing as BFS have done and call it time for a while :/

I've seen so many I can't remember them all, seen Bowling for Soup and Green Day the most though haha OMG Papa Roach are amazing live, they are suppose to be touring in November but no dates out yet, but Jerry answered one of my friends on twitter and said their would be a UK tour in November. First time i saw them I got covered in Jacoby's sweat haha

Lol! I've never had anything like that, the sweatest was Korn and my boyfriend got hit in the eye with a dreadlock, ooo he was so mad! lol
