Well I've done it, I've actually joined a slimming world group with my mum a couple of days ago. I have done SW before but red and green days. I managed to lose over 3st and this time I'm hoping for 4.5st!
I had a baby boy (Freddie) in May and weighed 17.5st. On Monday I weighed in at 14st 1lb, which is 7lb lighter than when I fell pregnant!! But it's still way too heavy for my petite 5' 2" frame.
So far so good. I'm really enjoying being on a "diet" and not feeling deprived. I love filling my plate with salad to go with my free food.
Today's menu:
Breakfast
2 x weetabix
Muller light
Blueberries
Snack
Rocky road hifi bar
Lunch
Half a pasta n sauce
Salad
Dinner
Ww Cumberland sausages
Onion gravy
Smash (tastes so much better than I remember?!)
Green beans
Broccoli
Pudding
Choc mousse
Chopped strawbs
Loved my days food!! So delicious!
I usually weigh myself everyday but I want something to look forward to so I'm avoiding the scales and want to wait until Monday.
I'm also seeing this as a long journey. I usually hope for massive losses each week and become despondent, but I'm just viewing this as a new way of eating with the added benefit of hopefully losing weight. So anything will be great because I know it will all add up in the end.
