My 2nd time round diary

I everybody it's my 2nd time doing SW, doing from home this time. It worked really well for me last time but I lost my nana in May and emotional eating was my way of coping. I put the three stone I lost back on and more. So last Saturday I decided enough was enough, I planned my weeks meals & went shopping for it. Sunday was a fresh start & a new me. I weighed myself last Sunday & weighed at 18st10lb. After a cracking week I weighed myself this morning & I have lost 10lb. Really really pleased but know it won't be a loss that big every week. With me doing from home I need as much support as possible so I thought if I start a diary & post my daily menu you Loy could tell me if I'm doing wrong. So today's food is as follows.

Red day
He a- 375ml skimmed milk
He a- 45g light cheese
He b- brown bun 60g
He b- brown bun 60g

Breakfast
Muller light, strawberries & banana (all free & no syns)

Lunch
2 x whole meal buns with fried egg, fried bacon (fat removed) fried mush, fried onions and fresh toms topped with 45g light cheese.
(All fried in one cal spray

Dinner
Beef & mushrooms 4 1/2 syns
Boiled rice
Chocolate bar (kit Kat or twirl)

Sunday is my treat day so my Chinese & chocolate is my naughty treat but well within my syns

Right so I have had my Chinese which was beef & mush 4 1/2 syns & boiled rice 10 syns. Going to have a Freddie later which is 5 syns I think. So slightly over daily syns but not used them all counting down from 105 for the week.
New week tomorrow so here's my food diary for tomorrow.

Extra easy
He a- 375ml skimmed milk
He b- whole meal pitta bread

Breakfast
Strawberries, melon & yoghurt (all free)

Lunch
Ham & potato salad (all free)

Dinner
Pitta bread pizza topped with mushrooms, onion, fresh tomato, ham & 25g of low fat cheese (3syns)
SW chips & big side salad

No other syns planned yet but might have a treat later on.
 
Feeling a bit bloated today, have had 4 cups of hot water & fresh lemon to see if it works. Also quite refreshing as well. Ok so my dinner didn't turn out to be syn 3 as I had 3 syns worth of extra light mayo. So I have used 6 1/2 syns today. Not many I know.
Made a big batch of veg soup today, can buy the bags of mixed veg already chopped up from my local green grocers, I just add leeks, spring onions & chicken stock cubes.
Just wondered if anybody new if pickled red cabbage was free? Had a proper craving for it today but couldn't find the syn values.
My tea was beautiful forgot how much nicer a pitta bread pizza was compared to a frozen one. Had a huge salad for my SF & also loads of SF on top of pizza & SW chips.

Extra easy

He b- 2 benefit hi if light bars (aldi)

Breakfast
Melon, grapes & yoghurt (all free and super free)

Lunch
My home made veg soup with Melba toast dipped in. (All super free & 3 syns)
Hi if light bar

Dinner
Roast chicken with SW roast potatoes & lots & lots of veg. (All free & super free) 100ml of gravy which I think is 1 1/2 syns (I will check that though because I might be wrong)

Today has been a really good day, only had 3 Melba toast with soup so just 1 1/2 syns there but had a packet of golden wonder chunky cheese's & they were 3 1/2 syns. Gravy with my tea 1 1/2 syns so 91 1/2 syns left for the week.
Hot lemon did the trick & haven't felt bloated today at all. Made pancakes with chocolate sauce & sprinkles for my 2 girls tonight, didn't even lick my fingers, feel quite chugged with myself for this.
I think this is the time that I actually feel like I'm ready to do this properly. I will lose weight.

So tomorrow's menu

GREEN DAY

He a- 375ml skim milk
He a - 45g light cheese
He b - 2 Alpen light bars
He b - 2 x brown bread

Breakfast
Melon grapes & yoghurts

Lunch
SW fry up, scrambled egg, bacon (fat removed) mush, beans, plum tomato & toast. 2 syns for butter.

Alpen bar

Dinner
Pasta with 2 laughing cow extra light triangles, quark and cheese. 2 syns for triangles.
Big salad
Alpen bar & orange

At work so needs to be summer I can make to take with me + I love this pasta it's beautiful.

Ok so today been good but I really need to use more syns, I only used 4 today. Don't know if I'm scared that if I use them all I won't get a good loss. Had loads & loads of fruit today, picked at a full punnet of grapes at work. Better then picking at penny sweets though I suppose.
Really struggling for different ideas to take for tea. Need to do some research over the weekend.

Today has been another good day apart from me really wanting chocolate, I'm at work as well which doesn't help. Banana & muller light might have done the trick though.

Just worked out the syns I have used for the week up to tomorrow's menu and I have only used 22.5. That's since Monday, really need to think about using more. Just don't want to sabotage my loss!!! Any advice welcome, just struggling with this one xx

Hi well I have weighed myself this morning and I have lost another 7lb. I just hope my scales are right, they should be because I use the same ones at home each Sunday. I ain't expecting a big loss though from now on, 2-3lb a week and I will be more than happy.

So today is a EE day

Good morning everybody, went shopping yesterday after planning meals for the week. Gutted though the leanest mince aldi do is less than 12 % fat. So going to have to count it as 2 1/2 syns. Good way of using my syns though as I have been struggling to use them.

Ok so today is extra easy

He a- 375ml skimmed milk
He b- 2 slice whole meal bread

Breakfast
Apple, orange & yoghurt

Lunch
2 slice whole meal bread, toasted, topped with egg, mush & chopped toms.

Dinner
Beef & mush cannelloni with big salad.
Will be using 6 syns on this meal because of the mince only being less than 12 % fat & I'm using 25g reduced fat cheddar 3 1/2 syns.

So today's menu was really good, felt satisfied all day. Used 2 syns of mayo tonight so a total of 8 syns used today. Yes was amazing. It wasn't something you could throw together in 10 minutes, but well worth it.

Ok so today's menu was different to what I 1st thought.

Breakfast was fruit & yoghurt

Lunch was a whole meal bun with an ex light laughing cow triangle & left over cannelloni from last night. My super free was in the cannelloni (chopped toms & mush)

Dinner
Forgot to put chicken in slow cooker so had pork chops, boiled potatoes, mushy peas, carrots & 100ml of mushroom gravy

Syns today
1 for ex light triangle
3 1/2 for crisps this afternoon
2 because my whole meal bun weighed 68g
1 1/2 for gravy
8 used all together today.

Today's been a good day. Apart from I'm wanting chocolate. Good job I haven't got any because I don't know if I would have the will power to say no tonight.

Soooo having been in manchester for the weekend. I have put a 1lb on. Had a good weekend so I am not to bothered about it. Extra good week for me though because it just might play catch up next week.

Today has been really good, used 7 syns today so 98/105. Got dentist tomorrow, back wisdom tooth out. Not looking forward to it at all.
