My first SW goal! Wish me luck!!

I rejoined slimming world in Dec '11 and I have realised I have only managed a 0.5lb weight loss.
This is horrible. When I think of all the weight I could have lost over those waisted 8+ weeks it makes me upset. I have not even managed to get a sticker or anything :cry:

I have lost 3stone since July '10, but I have hit a dieting brick wall!!

My group leader said that I have to set myself a goal, and that way I will keep motivated. Remembering that I joined this support group i decided to make my goal public, and give myself that extra bit of support and less of a place to hide!

SO.... Here goes nothing! I currently weigh 15st 13.5lbs and I am hoping to be 10st 13.5lbs (or less) by 4th September '12 (my 25th birthday) That works out to a 10lb weight loss p/m or 2.5lb p/w. *Eeeeeeek!*

I don't know how hard it's going to be and I don't know how many obstacles are ahead, but I know how happy I will feel when I get there!

Good luck, you can do it. At the moment i'm struggling bad but it is very doable :)

Why not consider joining one or more of the mini challenges on here so that your ultimate goal is broken up into smaller goals and then you may not feel as pressured?

Have a look at the Easter challenge (there's 6 weeks WI days left) and there's also one for summer too. Set yourself realistic and achievable goals and stick to the plan and you will soon see results.

Personally I can't think ahead to a final target -just too daunting- so prefer to set mini targets.

You've set yourself quite a challenge loosing 2.5lbs every week until September. It is doable if you are 100% dedicated all the time but most of us aren't. Not trying to be a killjoy but I worry you are putting too much presure on yourself. I've given up when I did that to myself and I hate to see anyone else go there.

Do you keep a food diary? if so publish it so that others can check it out in case you are not having enough of free food/superfree food etc...
A lot of people don't eat enough for the plan to work

Good luck,at the start of the year I set my goal to be 11st by 21/9/12...weighed in at 17st 8lb,I now weigh 15st 2.5lb! (nearly 2.5stone in 9 weeks) my target originally worked out at 2.5lb a week but is now down to 2lb a week :)

I find joining the monthly challenges helps xx
 
I always find it difficult to keep a diary (major slimming wall i am sure)
It won't be a complete week, but I will start a food diary on here.
