Feeling bummed out.

Well..
Im feeling bummed out today, it's my TOTM...
I just want to eat crap - I'm determined not to give in this time!
does anybody else get like this?


Not only am I following SW but I gave up chocolate, bread and alcohol for lent... I know! :/

So tonight when I would have had a cheeky syn-ed glass of something, I'll have diet coke...
Or where I would have had some nice toast or a cream egg...I can't!

Has anyone got some, SW pms pig-out ideas for me?

Don't you think you're being a little hard on yourself? The point of being on SW is that you don't feel deprived and giving up chocolate, alcohol and bread for lent seems like you might be sabotaging yourself! I know it feels good to think you could give those things up for a month or so but is it really worth it if it actually throws your weight loss off track? The last thing you want is an easter binge!

Personally I'd stick with one or two of the lent things and give yourself the other back or you're going to have to find ways to mix it up a bit - You can't have chocolate, so spend your syns on some werthers or toffee or gummy bears or something else that you like that will satisfy that sweet things craving. And instead of having diet coke (which you seem to not be enjoying) pop up asda and get some of their diet pinapple and coconut fizzy drink (its no added sugar and only 11 kcal per 100ml so only a couple of syns at most) it's something different and you may feel less deprived that way.

Failing that - order a takeaway, if you're low on syns for the week/ day, have half a chop suey and some dried noodles you can cook at home (free) you wo't go over your daily allowance and it will still feel like a treat :)

When I feel like that I have a bacon and sausage sandwich ...! Obv healthy b whole meal bread bacon fat cut off and skinny lizzie sausages which are 1 syn each. Feels so naughty though that it keeps me happy!! Giving up all of those things seems too hard! What about some Special K cracker crisps? They aren't bad for syns and they're yummy. Good luck love!
 
I was going to give up chocolate and/or alcohol for Lent and then I thought, "hang on, I'm already doing SW!" For me to do so would have been deprivation overload and I knew if I made these things forbidden then I'd end up craving them even more. If you want, quit one of those things but quitting them all while already adhering to SW seems overly hard going!
 
Do you know lent doesn't count on a Sunday !! So quick you have 4 hours left to have a treat xx

i know its too bad, I'd commited to the lent things before I realised I was going back to SW!
Owigoose I forgot about werthers! Might invest in some, I love them :)

I treated myself to a homemade chow mein in the end and used some syns on a mini twister lolly & a packet of quavers!

Go easy on yourself this can be hard at time of the month more than anything! Good luck!
 
My TOTM was last week and I was hell to live with, managed just by eating mullerlights and not restricting my mochas like i normally do and I still lost 2lbs lol
 
Weigh in day today and chuffed to have a 5lb loss... Even after a rubbish feeling weekend :D
