Green Days SW, insanity and deployment

Hi everyone :)
I lost 4 1/2 stone 3 years ago using SW but after meeting Mr Panda I've put a little (ok a lot) of weight back on. :/
Mr Panda is a submariner in navy and currently deployed for a long arse haul of no contact so I decided that he is gonna come home to a fit slim healthy girlfriend :)
So doing SW again (and being tough and sticking to it) and I've got insanity.
Started a week ago and lost 3lb, 1/2in off my waist and 1 1/2in off my hips. But with little cash I can't afford meetings so hoping you guys don't mind supporting me through the aches pains hunger cravings and probably many tears from missing my man.
Will offer any support I can to anyone else too and I have come up with lots of recipes over the years I can share :)
Can't wait to get to get to know you all :)

Wow that'll be great when he comes home and sees a difference in your health, looks and confidence because it will seem so dramatic after so long!
How long is he away for? How long are you wanting to lose over that time? I'm sure you can do it as you've done so well before.
Hope you've also got a good real life support network while he's away but people on here are lovely and helpful.

Ah thats such an awesome thing to do and a great way to keep focused :)

I'm always around so if you ever need anything just give me a shout. I look forward to seeing your progress :)

.x.x.x.

Hes away for approx 4 months without any contact so its tough. I have some amazing friends but winds me up when they try compare "that stag do hubby went to in leeds for weekend bit spoke 3 times a day" haha.
Its hardest on the kids as the eldest has aspergers and the youngest is only 4!
I am 152lb today and hoping to get back to 112lb ish but a lot more toned now so might not be as light. 8-10 and I'll be happy :)
Can highly recommend insanity tho. The results after just a week are undeniable.

Hi hun here to follow and help anyway I can. I've done Insanity as well, its err INSANE LOL!

Morning Lydia- Insane is about right but can't get to the gym so its become a bit of a family event.
After school everyday both kids get their "exercise" clothes on and we do insanity.
Its so much fun watching the kids do it and my its really helping the eldest as he's dyspraxic.
And after only a week i can feel my tone returning. Maybe my forgotten muscles have a memory after all haha
How long did you do it for?

Just wanted to pop in and say hi and welldone so far! I've just completed day 12/63 day challenge and today was cardio power and resistance! I love it! I've been exercising daily since aug but really am getting stuck into insanity. Look forward to following your success. Xxx

Thanks for saying hi. can i just say WOW about your results. they're amazing :)
day 8 today which is also cardio power and resistance :)
I don't know about you but i enjoy the simplicity. just a glass (or 4) of water and some space required :)

I did it all, but in fairness because I have Degenerative Spinal Disease, Osteoarthitis, small spinal bone spurs and loss of curvature of lower half of spine (try saying that when drunk!!) I couldnt' do the high impact moves. I found an American Arthitis forum that converted the high impact moves to low impact. I did what I was able to exactly as Shaun T insisted and the moves I new were insane for me to try I swapped for low impact. Still I lost 4 inches and massively increased my fitness levels.

I think its great that you and your kids all do it ,well done!

I don't think I can say that sober!!

I can imagine it would be really difficult for you! I have an old minor injury that the insanity irritates but all in all I manage to keep up.

We're a close little trio so when they saw me doing it they wanted to join in. obviously they don't manage all the moves but just the bopping about is good for them and without equipment etc there is nothing they can really do to hurt themselves!!

Tanya is a robot tho in my opinion!

Oh god she's so annoying isn't she and those faces she used to pull, I just wanted to trip her up LOL!

I swear with the faces she pulls I thought she must be an actress lol! Now I wanna be her! Haha xxx

Tanya isn't human!! If I manage to look like that I'll wear crop tops every bloody day haha :)

just keep swimming just keep swimming :)

I think she wants to be an actress LOL! But unless she's auditioning for a porn movie making those faces isn't going to cut it :8855:

Disc 5 she is sweating buckets and sean T tells her to stop :) happiest moment in my insanity life haha

just keep swimming just keep swimming :)

How far did you get with Insanity?

Im on week 3 and im finding i need to increase my calories as i seem shattered if i dont.

Insanity is the hardest thing i have ever done. At the minute i do insanity, the gym (weight training - for muscle definition) and then try to stick to insanity

Just curious how you still doing with Insanity people say month 2 of insanity is just painful !!

Hello and welcome back

My dh has just gone on a 6 month tour of duty :-( back in July, so pretty much sticking to the plan with a great goal in mind! But I do manage to chat to him over FaceTime 2-3 times a week!

normally about if you want a chat/moan haha!

I'm on day 12 of insanity. Its hard work BUT I love it.

I can already feel my body toning up and the results I got from one week were amazing.

Are you enjoying it (as much as sweating drastically can be enjoyable) or are you finding it a chore?

Yey another military wag.

I really feel for you. 6 months is AWFUL! But if your like me his return date is like a big neon goal. I want to see the smile when he realises how amazing I look :)

Will have to work hard now to look amazing but its definitely something to keep me motivated.

How much are you hoping to lose?

just keep swimming just keep swimming :)

I'm finding that I sweat a stupid amount but that's when I know that it is working.

I just hate that girl she makes me wanna launch my laptop against the wall.

I find it a real struggle first thing in the morning though
