Hi just wondering if many people stay to image therapy and if so how do you find it ? I personally stay more often than not as I have meet some nice people but that's more of a social thing :) I'm just curious to see if sw groups are basically run the same wherever you go ? As for myself I find the group thing good likeminded people and all that but feel it takes ages some weeks and the constant clapping can be annoying also can become a bit boring hearing the same old things week in week out . Just wondered if any one felt the same ?

My consultant is great fun and Image Therapy is usually informative, fun, and social. I really notice the difference if our consultant has a week off and we have a stand-in consultant. Those are normally the weeks I regret staying.

My group is in a transitional period at the moment, we have had the area manager for our area covering our sessions.
She has been interviewing people so we have had a stand-in for three weeks and I have noticed far fewer people staying to group - only 4 people staying after people weigh-in :(

We have a new consultant who has started with ours and she's a lot better then the last one (IMO) and you can tell this by the number of people that are staying to group. Only downside is it's now taking about 90 minutes from when the group opens to when we get to leave - I still go every week though as I find it motivates me for the week ahead.

Just got back from my group and really enjoyed it this week so glad I'm sticking with it and as ppl said motivates you for the week ahead :) x

My group is huge, there must be at least 30 people who stay, all the clapping gets a little tedious if I'm honest, there's not much food chat really.

We have our off weeks and good weeks, it all depends as our group is a very busy first thing in the morning weigh in, so if loads of people stay then it is very rushed, but if only 20-30 stay then it can be quite fun :) I have stayed every week apart from my weigh in this week as I had my first ever gain :( so was too upset to stay!x

I agree that the clapping and going round the group can get very tedious, i'd much rather recognise those with milestones, slimmer of the week etc then discuss how people are feeling, what they are eating/cooking and talk about the diet more than how much people have lost. Don't get me wrong, my consultant is fantastic but i think she is bound by rules set out by SW

I enjoy the imagine therapy sessions, however I am part of a relatively small group of about 10 people. The earlier session that day has 4x that and I'm pretty sure if I attended the earlier session I'd hate it.

My evening group isn't too bad I went to earlier one a couple of weeks ago it was horrendous very busy massive group and lots of children not that I'm anti kids got 3 of my own been there done it and got the t-shirt :) Didnt like weigh in system not that people can see your weight but the way it's set up people hear how you've done which is ok on a good week but not so if you've had a gain don't want the 5 or so people to know behind me very odd :( I just weighed and left think this would be off putting especially for new members there were lots of smaller groups of member's talking amongst themselves ! Ill be sticking with my evening group from now on ! Happy Slimming x
