Worried what to do when I get to target

Im so very close to my target weight, but I'm scared that I wont be able to maintain my weight. I do plan on going to club every week as a target member for the help and support from others, but because i have focused so hard these last few months on getting to target I'm scared I will have nothing to properly focus on and that my eating may slowly get out of control.
Does anyone have any tips or ticks for me?

I'm not a target member yet, but I think it would be good if you take half an hour each week to sit down and read through all the SW books and check the latest hexs online etc, as well as attending group it should help you stay on track :)

I think you'll get into the swing of it, but it might take a few weeks. My mum is at target, and still weighs in every week. She's been target for a few months. At the start she still lost weight, so upped her Hexs. Then she put on a bit, so learned to jig things to get a happy balance.

Now she tends to fluctuate by a couple of pounds. If she has a gain, she'll be super good the next week. It's not that different to losing in that sense, she still has to keep track, it's just that the result she is looking for has changed.

Yea think i definatly should look through the books again, I could find out something i missed before.
I never thought about upping my HEXs before when i get to target, all ive really been told is having extra syns a few times a week.
I know i need to concentrate on what works for me for a few weeks and then ill have a better picture of how it will work for me.
Thank you so much for your comments.

You're right it is hard being at target, some days are easy so not so easy, you've also got the voices in your head telling you it's ok to have xyz 'cause you're a target, but then again you know you can go 3lb either way & this is fine if going on hols. But you do have to be careful, not to 'relax' too much. Yep definately keep going to class I think the problems start when you stop going, i've been at target 4 years now & still go to class. ;)

I have been at target since July and maintain by sticking to plan mon to fri and relaxing a little at weekends, I know the official line is to up healthy extras but I'm naughty and upped my syns on weekends instead, I have always stayed within target, some weeks I don't relax my weekends if it looks like I might tip over, but I usually maintain at just below target weight. Sw really has become a way of eating now but I still weigh myself and keep food diaries, I was and still am an online member. I don't know if I have cracked it or not all I know is it's something I'm always going to have to watch, I'm a gannet by nature so need some sort of control! I have got rid if all my old clothes and have a full wardrobe of new ones,I'm not planning on outgrowing them!

I'm at target and have been since November - like most i continued to lose weight as you kindof do what you have been - although i struggled to get to target, lol.

You get a week book - Slim for Life - which tells you to up your healthy extras but I dont do this either but have extra syns. 3lbs either way is great. If i gain 1 week, i'm extra good the next. If i have a night out planned I am really good around it and have little syns, or go under target before hand etc. you defo find whats best for you. Focus on your target then others will help you maintain x

I'm a fairly recent target member and because I was a DIY-er (having started as an on-line member), I don't have the luxury of staying to class. Part of me regrets that I didn't enrol at a group when I still had half a stone to lose.

The most important thing for me was to remember that I couldn't go back to my old way of eating. In the past when I lost weight and got to target it was a bit 'Done it - whoop! Now I can start stuffing myself again'. In actual fact, I find I can't really eat much more than I was doing to get to target, so I allow myself to be a bit more relaxed on special occasions and recognise that my weight will naturally fluctuate.

My first real test will be next month when I have a week's holiday in a hotel on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. I intend to choose sensibly, but if there's something I really fancy then I'll have it. Most importantly, I'm going to have something in the house ready to get me back on SW as soon as I get home. Unfortunately, we get home late on a Sunday and I'm back at work the next morning, otherwise I'd organise an internet shop to be delivered on our return so that I've absolutely no excuse for not getting back on plan!

Well done everyone for maintaining! I'm definatly going to take what you've said into account, and use these ideas to make it work for me to. I too have had to buy myself a new wardrobe although it isnt finished yet. I plan on making my summer wardrobe huge this year because ill have the freedom to wear so much more and feel comfortable in it, unlike last year. I just need to stay at target!! :D

Oh my goodness. I put on half a pound this week! couldn't believe it! but i have an extra two days to work it off and more. Hoping to do it!! :D 4bls to go until target!
