How do you organise your slimming world day?

I seem to have spent a lot of time since starting SW thinking about food and working out how to fit my food into the day. I was just wondering how other people do it? Do you plan all your meals to be free food then have your HE's and syns as snacks? Or do you not use any syns or HE's all day and then have them in the evening? Or do you incorporate HEs and syns into your meals?

Hi Gleggers!
I incorporate HEXs and syns into my meals but I also keep some syns for snacks. If you look at the food diary threads you can see what other people are eating every day and steal their ideas!

I tend to save my he for night and have free fiud then space my syns out during the day and evening

I try and work out what I am having during the day and put in on my diary even if I change later. I use my h/e usually for milk and toast or a roll of doing ee

I usually use my he's with my meals, so something on toast for lunch, cheese sprinkled on a pasta bake for dinner etc. I like to save my syns for naughty snacks during the day and a treat when I finish work :)

I use my HEb for lunch if I'm at uni but if I'm off then I'll usually have it for breakfast or sometimes as part of dinner for recipes that use a bread coating. I rarely have a HEa because I can only tolerate a small amount of dairy. As for syns, I usually leave them until the evening and have something after dinner :)

I have syn free meals and enjoy my syns for tea break & evenings!

Normally have hexa with my dinner

Hex b is normally rolls & hex bars for snacks

I never use syns on a meal lol I like chocolate too much for that :p

I usually use quarter/half my HEX A as milk for breakfast, and either half my HEX B on oats or all my HEX B on All Bran.

I try to have my lunch and dinner as syn free as possible and usually I use the rest of my HEX A as cheese on top of dishes or in a jacket potato.

Syns are usually spent on a little bit of chocolate, and a yogurt for the evening (2 syns for an Alpro yogurt). Sometimes a packet of crisps if I fancy one!

I usually keep my syns for the evening for a bag of crisps or a bit of chocolate. I usually have syns free breakfasts and lunch but do use my HEX A & B. usually use some syns on evening meal also.

One tip is write down everthing as you go because you can easily forget something small :)

Thanks, it's good to hear what other people do. I've just been struggling a bit with it all lately and find if I eat my hex's too early in the day then I end up snacking on syns in the evening and going over so think I need to plan my days a bit better. I really seem to struggle with breakfast, as I find it the hardest meal of the day to make from free food so I usually end up using my hex's for this

what about an omelette? Mushrooms, tomatoe, onion whatever you fancy really :) sometimes I add beans sometimes use for HEX a of cheese!

I started a thread yesterday about planning meals, because it's something I'm struggling with. I'm finding if I 'fly by the seat of my pants' I have no idea what to eat or when to use my hex's, lol.

I struggle with breakfast too, as we have a breadmaker, we never buy bread so working out what a slice of my bread would be regarding hexb and syns is impossible, so I've kind of given up on bread for now. I have things like scrambled eggs, no butter, but maybe a syn of ketchup. A full english type thing, omelettes, oh and twice a week I have overnight oats (early trip to gym) using my hexb. I don't actully use that many syns each day, usually less than 10, often less than 5.

I would definitely say that trying to plan your meals is helpful.

We do a weekly evening meal planner and I then fit my day (EE, Red or green) round that. I tend the have a HEB for breakfast - usually toast with either jam or eggs. Or a bacon buttie. If I'm not planning on having cheese later in the day I'll use my HEA as well on porridge. Can't stomach fruit and yogurt in a morning!
Then I have fruit to hand for snacks but if I fancy some chocolate or crisps I'll have them and take it of my syns for the day.
