Starting over

Hi ladies and gents.

I'm back on the wagon!

I've done SW a few times over the years and have come back after being motivated by an online friend posted her weight loss journey on Facebook.

I've got a 2 year old son who provides me with plenty of exercise opportunities so hopefully it won't be long before I'm sharing my journey and inspiring somebody else!

Looking forward to getting some fab ideas from you guys and sharing your journey

Tebbski :)

Hi Tebbski,

Welcome!

I also just started recently and I can concur with small children you are using more calories running after them then you realise. :)

Good luck on your journey and I look forward to sharing tips and ideas

Hi! I have been a slimming worlder for a while, I lost 3 stone and loved it! I then moved away and over a year put on a stone or so. Now I'm back on it- I loved how I felt when I had lost the weight and can't wait to get there again.

Looking forward to getting some new ideas and encouraging each other on xx

My dad said to me when my boy started walking "I thought you would have lost some of that weight by now with him being all over" I almost lamped him ;-)

I'm in a bit of a predicament about how to get to classes without much regular child are :-S I really enjoyed staying for the chats at group so don't want to just weigh and leave. Hopefully I'll be able to get to as many sessions as I can!

Good luck :) I also recently restarted but it's taken me 4 weeks to really properly motivate myself back into the swing of it.

If you can't stay for the chats in your group all the time, don't fret, you have minimins! :D

Welcome & All the best!! :).

I lost 2 pounds this week, slowly getting that gain off! Have tried to be good this week, I had a night out with my partner and managed to persuade him to go to wetherspoons rather than nandos as there are some good sw options on there... And then scoffed half a bag of popcorn and 3 galaxy ripples in the cinema! Should have only bought a single bar, multipacks are my weakness!! An old friend is coming to visit this weekend which will involve a Chinese takeway, wine etc etc. Trying to keep everything slimming world is hard when you have very little will power! Xx

Tebbski, I'm starting back again this week too. My LO is 14m and I'm gutted cos I lost all the weight I put on while pregnant quite quickly only to put it back on just as quick!

I blame being back at work. When I was on mat leave I was walking at least 3 miles a day with my boy in the pram to get him to sleep. Now I just sit on my backside for 9 hours a day!

Luckily I'm only working 2 long days a week, but I'm finding it hard to get out and about with little fella due to trying to catch up after the two days.

I need to go walking more with him, doesn't help that the weather has been a bit crap the last couple of days. If it perks up next week I think I'll take him for a walk in the park :)

I've done SW before but this time I'm finding it easier to get my super free food in because I already get it in for little guy. Feeling less bloated and more energetic :)

Lost 3.5lbs in first week. Next weigh in is Wednesday.

Hi good luck for your new start. I have just rejoined last week and I am fully motivated again. I have never worn shorts in my adult life as I carry all my weight on my thighs. This year I plan to wear them on holiday .... :fingerscrossed:

I'm also looking forward to a bit of shorts wearing, maybe even a skirt :-O Still after having small child 2 years ago I have a "pouch" need it gone Crunches here I come! :p
