problems with gall stones

hi everyone, im quite new to this so i'm not really sure i'm posting in the right place.
any way, i've just had my 1st baby 5 months ago, before i was pregnant i lost about 3 stone with slimming world.
when my baby was 4 weeks old i was rushed off into A and E and found out i had pancreatitis caused by gall stones, at the hospital the doctors said my gall stones were caused by either fast weight loss or fatty diet ( so not much help really especially as their treatment was to tell me to eat super low fat, i lived off cup a soup and cereal bars which caused me to lose another stone in about 3 weeks)
now i feel much better i've gone back onto slimming world 2 weeks ago and i'm finding i'm getting quite alot of pain from my gall bladder and i was wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

I had my gall bladder out 3 weeks ago because I had a nasty infection in it at Christmas, if you're eating low fat, non spicy food I can't see what's triggering it other than your gall bladder being deceased in some way. They told me to stick to mainly carbs and proteins and that would calm it down. I do however suggest you see your doctor if you're in pain as it's a sign something isn't right.
Another thought if you're hardly eaten anything your body wouldn't have had to process much, may be it's your body re-adjusting to normal eating. Is it after you've eaten? Or all the time?

I've just found out I have gallstones too. It's something I've suspected for a while, although my GP said it was gastritis. It seems diet does play a part in gallstones, but sometimes there are people who have underlying medical conditions which make us more prone to getting them (I am one of those).

I've been told if it's giving me grief then the gallbladder should come out. Not sure how strict your SW diet is but obviously you have your syn allowance to use. Last time my gallbladder was grumbly I had eaten chocolate. However, if yours is giving you pain, I think you should seek the advice of your doctor firstly for pain management, and secondly to see if you are a candidate for having it removed. (It should be a keyhole procedure). I hope you get sorted soon :)

My gall bladder has severe pain when I eat anything! It's gone past the stage of just reacting to fat and goes off on anything. Thank god it's coming out tomorow morning!! Then I can finally rejoin group and get this weight shifted! Get yourself on the wait list for removal, I've waited over 4 months! And I was told I had problems with my gallbladder nearly 8 years ago, hope you get it sorted. X
