Ive done light exercise this week (good ole monthly) but starting properly monday.

Hi there
I'm sure it's do-able. I've lost 5.5st in just under a year and I've not deprived myself when 'life' has happened (put on at Christmas, holidays and weekends away) but got back to it. Like you I've done it before but given up (normally when things have got hard and i slipped up/meals out etc when I'd then say to myself "that's it I've ruined everything, i may as well have more chocolate or crap"). But I think this time something in my head shifted when I learnt to draw a line under any slip-ups or holidays and just get back on it as soon as poss. That and going to face the music at WI rather than saying (as I used to) "I won't go to WI this week as I'm sure I've put on weight..I'll go next week" only next week never came! Even if you put on its never as bad a gain as you think. Good luck on your journey. Everyone on here is helpful and friendly. .if you need help just ask. We all need support x

Ive lost my weight see opposite in 9 weeks..EE is the best program i have ever followed..you just need to take it a day at a time eat until you are full and watch want you eat but no. Hunger pangs or feeling deprived anymore

I lost 5st in just under a year. With some scenic routes taken. Its do-able.

I've lost 8 stone 5lbs in 66 weeks and agree EE is fantastic. Split your goal into manageable small targets, good luck :)

I lost 7.5 stone in 20 months. The first 5 stone took 10 months to lose, and then my weight loss slowed down and it took another 10 months to lose 2.5 stone., despite my keeping on plan 100%!

WOW!!!!!!!! U have all done really really well. Im feeling good atm although its my 1st weigh in on Tuesday an I came on yesterday so feel bloated an iffy! Expecting weight loss to be a minimum. What exercise are u all doing? If any x

Im a zumbaholic, the key for me was finding an exercise I enjoyed. I tried jogging but it just wasn't for me. I quite like metafit and aerobics too.

Taken me longer than I would have liked but I have bad health and spent alot of my weeks messing about. But 4 months and have lost 24lbs x

I lost 3st 1lb and reached target in 10 months. I put on at Christmas and while on holiday and really slowed down in the last few months. I was so happy with my weight even before I reached target that I started to eat as though I was already at target - but in the healthy SW way. Eg I would allow myself a bit extra HEB and HEA. I was very happy to do it slowly and know and understand how I would continue to eat for the rest of my life, than hurry to reach a target and then let it all go.

I took the slow and scenic route - it took me 2 and a bit years to lose 4 stone. The thing is different people lose at different rates and things such as age and mobility also come in to play. The reason that my loss was slow compared to many others was that SW was not all that different to how I was eating before - I already ate a lot of fruit and vegetables, used Frylight and low-fat products but over indulged on things such as chocolate and crisps and was heavy-handed with the ketchup and used packet and jarred sauces, such as bolognese or curry sauce. The point I'm making is that the bigger the difference between your pre-SW diet and the SW plan, the quicker you are likely to lose weight.

Even if you haven't lost the full 5 stone by next June - and there is a good chance you will - would you really be disappointed if you were, say, 3 stone lighter? That could mean you've gone down several dress sizes!
