Who regularly orders from Joe's Sausages?

Wow i've just been on the website...
I've heard the name Joe's sausages mentioned loads on this website over the last 6 months.
I was going to order a couple of things some sausages, sausagemeat and some beefburgers.
Then i read the minimum order is 8 items . you only get free delivery over £59...
the products aren't exactly cheap either.
Well all i can say is he can poke his sausages, i dont have that kind of money to spend... i'll stick to my morrisons sausages and my own home made beefburgers thank you very much...!!

Me my mum and a freind put an order in between us so its not to bad, I thought the sausages were a reasonable price I pay that at our local butchers for normal sausages. But £59 is a lot if its only you who is ordering I agree.

I agree its a lot of money, i would pay it if there was someone local who wanted to share the order. As its alot £59 worth of meat just for me as Steve wouldnt eat stuff from there!

yea- i suppose it is if you want to half the order with someone else.
If you can only order a min of 8 items then with the delivery its gonna cost over £30!!
It is each to their own and if i could afford it i'd be ordering from there, im probably just on a downer cos i gotta wait till friday for pay day :-(

I bought a load of stuff from there as a bulk order, I agree that I don't think the sausages are expensive when you consider proper sausages from a butcher are the same price, the ones they sell in the supermarkets are just full of crap anyway (whether they are low syn or not!)

Having said that, I'm seriously not impressed with their sausages, I don't think they taste like a proper sausage at all, they just taste very artificial so I won't be buying anymore from them

Snap! My pay day is Friday too! Joe's sausages etc sound a bit pricey!

For those who do buy from there - is it worth it? Does it taste really good?

They dont deliever over here but I dont think id chance 60 quid incase I didnt like them

i dont think its expensive at all for what you get, e and my hubby who is not doing sw love all the items they are by far the tastiest syn free things i have tried. I spent the £59 and filled 2 draws of my freezer and we have had something nearlt everynight and still have enough to do another week. My mum is doing sw and we were going to split the order but i dont want to share lol. Obviously its expensive if you dont have the 59 to pay all in one go. But I have a budget for the month and then go to aldi, markets for my fruit veg and yogs. Spend about 150 per month total for 2 of us and a doggy xxx

rachella not only do they taste good but when they got delivered in a freezer box all packed my neighbours recieved them for me and said OMG this smells gorgeous where have you got it from !!!!!!

I wish i was as good as that! I spend a fortune when on SW i am on a very tight budget but still end up penniless at end of month!! I need to pull my socks up me thinks! Does £59 worth of Joes sausages really give you value for money as i may order some next time i get paid.

Personnaly I think its worth it yes.x

you get 8 sausages in a pack , i only have 2 sausages at a time so they last for ages.

I'm just about to place my second order with them. I didn't think much of the pork and chicken chinese style but love the sausages and grills.

I know they don't taste like 'normal' sausages but I think that's because the meat content is a lot higher - which is why the prices are more expensive than 'normal' sausages which have a high meal content.

I just had a look for the first time. I think I might see if someone wants to share an order. Were the chinese chicken really not very good? I got hungry at the thought of them...mmmm :p

Anyone from the north east can get butcher products in the Grainger market in Newcastle. Not tried them but have seen the official SW sign on the display

I prefer to buy from my Birmingham meat markets. I can live without sausages. I like to season meat myself. Birmingham Markets prices are good.

Joes sounds like a good idea. Just not for me I guess :)
