Brown Sauce ..Free on EE??? Can this be right?

I have just checked the Syn values online and I am sure this cannot be right??

The nutritionals are as follows:
Per 100g

Energy434kj/102kCal
protein 1.4g
Carb 23g
of which sugars 17.2g
Fat 0.2g
of which sats 0.08g
Fibre 1.4g
salt 1.6g

I put this into the calculator with a 10g serving and it came up as free on EE, I hope so but I fear it must be wrong??

10g is half a syn.

Probably but 10g is 2 level teaspoons. Not heaped. That's not a lot of sauce. Things like ketchup are around 1/2 syn for a full tablespoon so free for that amount is conceivable. Tbh you would be better of synning for a table spoon and having a decent amount

Why when I work it out on the calculator does it come up as free though? It makes me worry that other things are not as good as I thought?

You must be doing something wrong - I've just done it, half a syn.

10 g is 10 calories so therefore will always be half a syn. There is no free food allowance.
