Hi everyone! I'm not new to Minimins, but this diary is.. I've just finished my first year at the University of Lincoln, and whilst it's been an awesome year, I've managed to gain over 2 stone!

Since the beginning of this year I've been calorie counting using MyFitness Pal (add me: gracehutchinson) and have so far managed to lose nearly a stone, which I'm thrilled about! I've now decided I'm going to follow the Slimming World plan to lose a bit more - if not the rest of it! - as I've had success with it in the past.

I currently weigh on Sunday mornings, but it may change as I'm debating joining the Monday night class my mother in law attends if I can afford it. I'll not be starting officially until this Sunday. In the mean time, I will be calorie counting and using up the food in my fridge/freezer!

A bit about me.. If anyone wants to know lol.. I'm 19 years old, nearly 20, and I'm studying Journalism at uni. I work behind the bar at a pub, and love mountain biking, camping and exercising!

Looking for tips, inspiration and just general chatter.. Please feel free to chip in!

Well today was a good day, it was really nice not to have to weigh every single piece of food that went into my mouth! Love having so many choices too.. Hopefully if I manage to stick to it all week I will get a good weight loss.

Today was meant to be a red day but turned into extra easy as I had a jacket potato with my lunch! Been reasonably good today I suppose, could've got some more superfree in though. Wasn't too bad at work, just picked at a few chips.. at least there was no choc tonight lol! Am thinking of having a sneaky weigh in tomorrow morning before my step and tone class :)

Well, I'm back from my holiday in Paris - had a great time - but been a total piggy! Ah well, next time I will exercise more self-control.

Back on the straight and narrow today, and I'm even doing 2 classes tonight at the gym for a bit of damage limitation! Legs, Bums & Tums and Pump FX, my 2 faves.. Can't wait!

Boyfriend's mum just returned home from fruit market with tons and tons of fruit! A massive crate of melons, a huge box of cherries, nectarines, plums, raspberries.. Oh god I'm in heaven!! Going to be having massive fruit salads for breakfasts and snacks for the next week (or three!) haha. Can't wait :)

Arghhh disastorous day today syns wise! Have eaten anything and everything in site.. Am debating rejoining group for the added pressure of getting weighed weekly in front of others. So another bad day today, just can't seem to get my head in the game :( Back on it tomorrow again though, I suppose that's the main thing, that I keep on trying. Going to try and alternate red and green days to keep my metabolism going if you know what I mean. Also may rejoin group. Undecided yet.
 
So I've braved it and weighed in this morning! 4lb gain over 10 days taking me to 12 stone 11. I know with a good week I could get most, if not all, of it off. So I'm feeling quite positive really :) Thought it'd be more of a gain to be honest! But after all, this is a marathon not a sprint :D
