100 day challenge!!!

After my 5 days off :eek: i am back on track now 100% for 100 days... can i do it?!... i sure hope so!!!!

I lost 10.5lb in 2 weeks doing SS+ going from 16.5 to 15.8.5 :eek: but then i had a '2 planned days off' for a wedding + dads bday which turned into 5 + went crazy :(

Anyways today i am 15.12 so not back at square 1 + im back with even more determination!!! Im treating today as a new start + have updated my stats from today!

I plan on doing SS for 100 days untill my bday... seems like an impossible mission but i WILL get there 1 day at a time! I will not let any future events get in my way!!!
I plan on staying in ketosis 100% i may have some days SS+ but if im honest i would rather not as i want as much weight off as poss in this 100 days!!!

So day 1 for me again (14th may 2012) roll on day 100 lol x

PS- good luck to anyone starting/re-starting today! I am going to make a diary now with the same title so i can keep a record of my progress, feel free to chat to me on it x
 
No you can do it!!! Don't think about the 100 days, just go one day at a time!! I'm doing 80 days (it was a random number don't know why I chose 80). So I can track my progress I've made a wall chart, every successful day I put a sticker on, the further on I'm getting the more I want to fill it!

Oh wow, I wish I had as much will power as you. If I can do 30 I would be made up, I'm on day 3 and just made cakes with my little girl they look so yummy x
 
Surfhunny- I didn't choose 100 days specifically... i just decided to do it untill my Bday (22nd aug) + it just so happened to be 100 days so i thought id put that haha! 100 days sounds soooo long.. its just 14 weeks really that doesn't sound as bad.. i'm sure it'll fly past (i hope!!!!) good idea with the chart thing + see you have lots of stickers so well done you :) have you seen the programme 'i used to be fat'? they have a count down chart of roughly 100 days + rip a day off after every day! Its sooo inspiring + the transformations are amazing!!!

Kristin- if i didnt have nearly 5 stone to loose then believe me i wouldnt choose to do it that long haha. Im just going to do the 100 days + praying im close to goal. Then loose the rest with probs 2 shakes a day + 1 meal, that way itl get me eating again without going mad. Then will have 1 a day + 2 meals etc. Well done for resisting cakes.

lil legs- i bet u cant wait untill your hol in 2 weeks time!!!! you'll be in the 9's then + looking/feeling fab well done x
 
I used to be fat is one of my favourite programmes lol, I've got tons of programmes like that saved on sky+ for inspiration. I think I initially decided 80 days about 80 days before my birthday but messed about a lot so didn't start until 3 weeks ago. I've done 23 days and still have 115 days to my holiday do in theory I'll be doing it until then, but I'll start a new chart after 80 days.
 
yes thats a good idea hun! where you off on holiday? i haven't got any holidays booked but once im at goal weight i shall def be booking one as a treat! there fab motivators aren't they!!! So what do you weigh now if you dont mind me asking + whats your goal weight for your hol? i noticed we are same height.. + ive never reached a healthy weight + really curious as to what size clothes id be at about 11-11.7lb? the lowest that ive been that i can remember was roughly 12 + half stone (ish?!) when i was about a teen + think i was a tight 14 so im hoping to be a size 12 maybe? WE CAN DO THIS!!! its a long journey but will be soooo worth it! I also love biggest loser + obese a year to save me life! Its sooo inspiring.. cant wait untill its my time to finally have a success story after 10 years of yo-yo dieting going from lowest of size 14 10 years ago to highest of size 24 last year...with various sizes/weights in between! i just cant wait to finally feel comfortable in my own skin + start living my life + not constantly wishing my life away whilst im on a diet! xxx
 
I'm off to Florida in September and determined to be at target by then. At the moment I'm 14st 13lbs but at my biggest I was pushing 18st but never went on scales so no "official" record of that. I lost a couple of stone with slimming World but it took two years and I felt that still having so much to lose I needed something faster so opted for CD.

I managed to get down to 11st 10lbs back in Jan 09, and maintained quite well but a bad break up, trip to Vegas and an injury that left me couch bound for 9 weeks meant my weight has crept back up to unacceptable highs again. So at the beginning of the year (new years resolution) I decided to give it one last go, but then my Gran died in Jan so that put a halt to things for a while but about a month ago I gave myself a good talking to, my CDC sat me down and said if I wanted to get to target by September for my holidays I needed to pull my finger out, stop making excuses and get on with it, so i am lol. I'm determined not to be fat on these Florida photos like I was on the last lot!!

I'm aiming for 12st but if I can get lower then bonus. At 12st I'm comfortable and happy, generally a 12-14 in most shops, but places like Primark where they skimp on material I could be as much as a 16 but generally not.

As crazy as it seems the easiest way to do this diet is by being strict, not allowing any deviations or slip ups, it's hard to stay focused and strong, but it's even harder to get back on track after slip ups. Plus you feel so guilty afterwards and for me it's just not worth it. Not when I've still got so far to go. Also the trick is if you do have a slip up - we're all human - get right back on it, don't write the day (or week in my case sometimes) off, nothing is ruined, you won't have gained all your weight back on in an instant, provided it remains the one slip up, not a whole day ruined.

Wow sorry that was long, hope you don't think I was being preachy, I'm just an old hand at this diet and want to see people do well :D
 
Oh and if you can, take photos with every stone you lose, because at the end it takes your brain ages to catch up to the fact that you ARE a thin person, and photos really help with that. It's also a great way of showing that it is working!! X
 
thanks for the advice hun! its fab to see you've reached your goal before + so you can do it again + this time you can learn by your mistakes + not regain the weight! you'll be at your goal weight in no time.. what step are you on?
I no how you feel, between the ages of about 17-18 i went from a comfy size 16, all the way to a 24 because i was in a horrible relationship! when i come out of it i started lighter life + stuck with it for the full 12 weeks +lost loadsss of weight right down to about 13 stone a loose 16, but i never reached my goal weight which i sooooooo regretted!!! at the time i felt great though + desperately wanted to socialise again! i maintained for a while but various stresses + my weight crept back on slowly but surely over the years untill i was back at my heaviest size 24 again last year :(
im desperate to reach my goal weight this time + finally be happy + i no for a fact that ill never regain the weight as ill be really strict with myself + il weigh weekly + if it goes above half stone above goal then il be back on CD to get it off + regain control!
I dont doubt that they'll be tough times in my life where ill turn to food for comfort + i think i will always have an issue with food but theres no way ill loose control completely this time as i actually love healthy food now + exercise... so if i ever did have a bindge day then the next day i'll take my frustration out at the gym rather than let it turn into a viscious cycle of feeling guilty + eating crap to feel better etc.....
Anyways we can + will do this :) + regarding the photos i have plenty + theres a massive difference in the way i look + feel between a comfy size 16 (14 stone) + a comfy 18 (15 stone) so i cant wait to even get back to a 16 at the mo!!!! xxx
