Im a newbie here, 1st day on CD and I am exstatic. I have waited so long to do this and am now determined as ever not all my family are being supportive so have decided to hide it from some for a while to stop the negative input (it almost stopped me from going to the meeting this morning).

I have only had one shake as yet as only started it at lunch today. I have the Tetra strawberry shake... its was ok but I hate the taste of pre-mades so this one is no different. to me it has the same "old" taste. It was however still rather strawberry and quite sweet.

Does anyone know what tea's I can have - i am still confused about tea. I love Chi tea and twinings earl grey and vanella or Roibos and vanella - can I have these?

Your help would be great... :)

Hi mistiek, welcome to the site and to CD. The diet is great and works really fast as long as you stick to it 100%. Don't forget to drink loads of water this wil help you out.
Can't answer about tea sorry i'm a coffee drinker myself

Any leaf teas are acceptable. I drink black tea, mint tea, green tea and green/mint tea.
Earl grey and Roibos:sign0137: should be fine.
I don't like plain water, so i drink fizzy water instead.

I'm on restart as of yesterday (i've had a blip of about 4 months!) and oh so thankfully i managed day 1 of SS. Day 2 going well but kids are eating pizza and i am ravenous! Had a shake and soup so far and loads of water. You'll be so impressed with diet if you can stick to it as the weight will fall off in the first few weeks. I'm not setting myself any time targets as i know i am going to find it really really difficult. The nights are dark so early and i just want to eat comfort food.
However, we are going to a wedding a week Saturday so thats my first wee goal to lose half a stone for.

welcome, this is new to me too although on 2nd week. I am going to be 40 next year :cry: so have decided this is my last chance to try and lose weight. I have been on countless diets and have lost weight on most and put it all back on plus more :( I am feeling very positive about this one I have to say so fingers crossed this time I actually manage to reach my goal.

Morning - day 2!

Morning all, thank yo for your feedback.

Well its day 2 for me and feeling fine. The water I am drinking is going right through and the toilet is now becomming me best friend.. they say you get used to it..... hope so - it feel ilike when I was preggers.

I had the chicken and Mushroom soup last night and the first 2 sips wir a bit bland but then it seemed to become more tastier the more a drank - not a bad soup. This morning I am having the Choc Mint Shake - yummy.... I like this one.

Has anyone tried the porridge, I am gettin gsome tomorrow - wondered what you apinions were....

hi Mistiek - well done for getting through day one.... it will only get easier .. I have the porridge I love it, I add cinnimon to it which makes it taste better in my opinion.

Finding the 2nd day easy so far - not even hungry! Have already had 1/2 a litre of water... :tear_drop:

Hmmm Cinnamon - that sounds like a fine idea... I love cinnamon. I am just so excited I cant wait to start shiffting the pounds! :bliss:
