2014 My final weight loss Journey

    I am 32 years old and have been on a diet since I left school! I was always struggling with the same 1 stone ( on off on off). Then back in July 2011 I was diagnosed with Graves disease which is an overactive thyroid. I was so poorly as it was so overactive. They couldln't even see how overactive it was as it was to high to measure. Anyway I was an unlucky one that did not lose weight I just stayed the same and once I was on medication I put on 1lb a day for about 3 weeks taking my weight up to 13st. I was mortifed and nothing I did would stop it going up. Luckily though it stopped eventually but then losing the weight was my next biggest battle!!!!
    3 years on and after a thyroidectomy I have finally managed to lose 1 stone and now see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am starting to get back into my pre illness clothes but still need to lose 7lb to get back to where I started and then a further stone to get to my goal weight of 10 1/2 stone.
    I am going to use this site as my motivation to get there and am going to log everything i do and eat. I am a member online on the weight watchers site but feel by doing my own diary on here keep me on track.I have tried propoints before but after liking the old ww discovery I never really gave it 100%.

    So here i go on day 1 of my final journey! 2014 is the year when i finally get a grip on it all.Please feel free to offer any advice!!! I need all that I can get

    I want to get to 10st 7lbs aswell but I am a bit heavier than you so will take me a wee bit longer.

    Thanks trigger and dolly. Didn't have a great evening last night but if I keep my weeklies to nil for the rest of the week then I should be ok. Need to be more organised. Off work for 2 weeks so things should be easier from now.

    So far this morning is good:

    30g bran flakes - 3pp
    200ml milk - 2pp
    1 tbsp milled linseed - 2pp

    breakfast total 7pp

    im clearing the garage out today what fun that will be. Hopefully hard work so should burn some of those extra calories from last night. Have a fab day everyone and I'll update after lunch.

    oh last night I went out for a curry so dont worry about it we are in the same boat!!

    Clean slate today.
