Hi everyone, how are we all doing.
I have lost 3 stone so far and 3 stone to go before I go on holiday. Anyone serious about losing weight lets keep each other motivated.

Great start Jay. 50% of the way through. You can add your stats to your profile - and a ticker if you want one, so we can keep each other company. Lots of very seriously serious losers here!

Hi Ali
Good to have you on board. I was just trying to sort the ticker out, eventually got there. I know what you mean by clutter.
How long have you been doing Cambridge and are you doing sole source.
I am doing sole source on TDR. It's tough, but I know it works if we stay on plan. I am going to Canada & Jamaica on the 1st October so want to get to my goal as close as possible, that's what motivates me to keep going. How are you motivated, this diet plan takes a lot of will power to succeed.

Hi guys, i start CD on Sunday, i’m feeling nervous as i have read mixed reviews, i hope i can stay motivated alongside help from you both, i have 5.7 stones to lose, ideally before 2019, i’d be happy losing each week, my CDC is meeting me later in the day, with a weeks work of SS products, i will let you know how i get on

Good Morning Both. Hi Zohrah welcome onboard. How did your first day go. I started with 5st 11Ilbs to lose. Now I am at 2st 7Ilbs to lose by 1st October. This diet does work, it is hard, you have to be VERY motivated and have good willpower and you will see the results each week. At certain weeks you will not lose so much but you will find you are losing inches which is good. I have dropped 2 dress sizes and it feels good to get into size 14 clothes and hopefully soon into size12/10.. Lets us know how you get on and lets do this.
Hi Ali how you getting on, have you stayed on plan?

Hi Ali how you getting on, have you stayed on plan?

Hi Jay, I am now on day 8 and just had my first weigh in and lost 9lbs so extremely happy. I read your post and you are doing fantastic do you have any tips?
I would love to be a size 14! Have you found it hard? I started at 15st 7 so similar weight to your start weight.

Hi Rolo, well done you, that is a brilliant result and just keep aiming to lose that 1st stone. I set myself small goals and when I was 14st 11Ilbs I kept telling myself I just want to get in my 13stone and so on. I can get into my size 14 clothes which before couldn't even get them over my knees. Stick at it and you will see the inches going down. What ever you do, do not cheat because it is so hard to get back on. When I gave up for 1 week I binged on everything and put 5Ilbs on, it is so not worth it. If your hungry have some water it fills you up, try and keep busy so your not thinking of food, either go for a walk or take up swimming I find it helps and you feel so much better. Keep posting as this will keep you motivated and read other blogs. We can do this and just think how good you will look and also with Xmas coming up you want to wear something great.
Good luck all.

Hi Jay,

Thanks for your message yes I am totally motivated. These chats are great hearing other people succeeding on Cambridge.

I have been drinking four litres of water a day I have always drank a lot so just added some more I agree definitely fills me up when I am hungry.

I have joined a gym as well so upping my exercise slowly nothing to drastic until I am on a higher stage I have discussed this with my consultant today and she is happy with me doing this.

Good idea thinking in smaller goals I am going to do that too.

I bought extra shakes just in case I have a wobble figure it’s better to have an extra product than eat something off plan.

So happy I have started and looking forward to a new me. Thank you for the advice X

Good Morning All. Hi Rolo your definitely on track and in the right frame. You are doing really well with the water. So what are your favourite products. I like the original porridge, I feel it fills me up and the lemon bars I enjoy. Theres not much selection on the TDR. As if its 1st August tomorrow, July has gone by so quick. My consultant is on holiday so will have my weigh in next Tuesday. Getting weighed each week definitely motivates you seeing the weight going down. What also motivates me which might help is what I got from ebay was a weight chart and as you lose weight each week you put a sticker on the chart to inspire you how many Ilbs/stones you have lost. It really keeps me going. Costs £3.49.

Midweek tomorrow and lets all keep going to reach target xx

Hi Jay,

Just been for a lovely walk into town with my friend to get some bits and bobs and it was really good.

My favourite products upto now are strawberry and chocolate shakes. Vanilla is ok but really don’t like the banana one!

I am having the 200 cal products this Saturday and Sunday as we are going out Both days so making milkshakes isn’t possible and warm milkshake doesn’t appeal so I have a lemon bar and a toffee bar for lunch. Will be nice to have a change.

Thanks I will have a look on eBay and get one of the weight charts. I too am very visual and if I can see how well I am doing it will motivate me more.

How is your week going?

Hi Rolo, that's good it does make you feel better going out and about. I'm sure your be fine this weekend just don't be tempted for any deserts as you have done so well and think the great loss you will have for your weigh in.
My weeks been good so far just always counted down how many days I have left and thinking about the outfits I can wear on holiday.
Be strong and lets both hit our targets. By the way what town are you from. I live in Solihull, West Midlands.

Hi Jay,

I definitely won’t be coming off plan until 15thSeptember for my friends boyfriends 30th so nothing but 3 products and what feels like a bath full of water a day!

When do you go away and where are you going? We aren’t going abroad this year it’s killing me! Decided to have the garden landscaped and artificial grass laid and a lovely new composite front door so no money for holiday (I am dying inside lol).

Ibiza next August 2 weeks of relaxation I can’t wait especially as I will be in my size 12 clothes not squeezing into an 18!

I live in Newcastle and yes we will definitely hit our targets at this rate!! X

Hi Rolo, hope your having a good day and yea I can't wait neither to get into size 12/10. I am off to Canada and Jamaica 1st October. Can't wait it is going to be amazing. I just want to look good in my clothes and be comfortable on the beach in Jamaica and in my swim suit. 2 months and 5 days left for me to stay on plan, I'm always checking the dates and seeing what I should be able to achieve. It really does feel great when you can get into smaller sizes and not to worry about going into shops as you know the clothes will fit, a great feeling.
Mid week and another week nearly over, good luck and lets keep on track xx

Hi Jay,

Your holiday sounds amazing no wonder you can’t wait! The time will fly to so hopefully it will make sticking to the plan and having a goal so much easier and you will be much more motivated to succeed.

Are you keeping your diary empty to resist temptation?

I am doing really well gym session was fab today I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I am at physio tomorrow morning so keeping myself busy to stay focused. I am feeling a bit more confident just from being out and about a bit more too.

Hoping for a good loss again on Monday when I see my consultant again. What’s your consultant like is she/he good? Mine only had a stone and 3 pounds to lose and said she never found it hard I am hoping if I ever need it she will be able to support me and know the answers to my questions.

What support do you have? I haven’t told any of my friends yet. My husband is very supportive but he keeps forgetting and saying should we do this and go there etc I have to keep reminding him that this is going to take sometime although a lot faster than any other plan I have followed.

Sorry if I have waffled!
X

Hi Rolo. Jamaica will be fab as its all inclusive so I'll probably eat everything. Canada we are attending a wedding there so its all food and drink.
Well done you for going to the gym. I went swimming last night and I am going to get a personal trainer to help me tone up and lose the excess weight. My consultant is great, she texts me everyday and really motivates me. My husband also does not let me eat if I am tempted but send me to the chippy or to get pizza for him, that is strong willpower. 2nd August already, time is going by so quick we have to do this for ourselves and it will give us so much confidence. What you up to today. I am at work, but it is very quiet so I have nothing to do, so just checking out the blogs xx

Hi Jay,

Hope work wasn’t too boring I hate it when I am quiet at work although it is literally once in a blue moon so I can’t complain.

Your holiday will be amazing! I am so jealous!
We went to Ibiza last year my friends wedding and it was all inclusive. It was one of the holiday villages in 2 weeks I put on 10lbs they had homemade gateaux’s at 3 then every night unfortunately my weakness is cake hence the 10lbs!

We are definitely going in August next year but this year unfortunately is all about the house.

I wish my consultant was like that I got weighed Monday and haven’t heard from her since and I was only there 10 minutes including weigh in and picking what products I wanted.

My husband thinks he is helping me but like yours sometimes they just don’t think and make it a bit harder. His heart is in the right place but secretly I think he likes the less confident me because I am either at work, taking our son to football, boxing and rugby or I am in the house.

I went to physio today for my back which is held in a specialist gym so we get to use their equipment it’s scary walking in but once I am there it’s fine. I prefer the gym I have joined it’s so friendly and not scary like I thought it would be plus they give 121 training included in the price so it’s a bit of a bargain to be honest. I love swimming but I am too self conscious at the moment to put a costume on.

I went shopping this afternoon with my friend and the kids, we were just browsing pointless buying anything new until I lose weight. The boys went off and did there own things and me and my friend just walked around chatting away the next thing we knew we had been shopping for 3 hours amazing how time flys.

I am shattered today though think I am going to swop on to the 200 calorie products think as I am getting more active I need a few more calories. What do you have and have you changed steps since starting? X

Hi Rolo, hope you are on plan. Thank god is Friday. That be me abroad, I love sweet stuff and love my chocolate. Your doing well going to the gym, I have to make the effort as well. I do enjoy swimming and too be honest everyone is in there own world so no-one takes any notice of you, so maybe give it a shot, once you've been you'll realise you was worrying for no reason. Going shopping, at least you got the exercise in, all that walking does wonders.
Maybe you should change your consultant, she should least see how your getting on and spend more time with you to motivate you. When I go and see mine, she takes her time. Weighs me, measures me everytime and takes a picture of me so I can see from previous pictures and is always posting pictures on the group chat. I am on TDR, was on the sole source 600 calories but changed to TDR as want to lose as much as I can before I go on holiday. It has been hard and I have cheated a few times, but it is not worth it. It is best to hit goal. I keep telling myself I haven't got long and can do this. To stay on track you just have to keep busy or your mind is just thinking of food. Everyone knows this diet works as long as you stick to plan.
Good luck for the weekend and lets have a good weigh in next week xx

Glad you found a gym that suits you. I've started swimming again. It's funny - this time I don't feel anyone is looking at me. I'm in a size 24 suit with pretty impressive thunder thighs! I've been swimming lengths in the slow lane. Getting faster and taking less breathers - stately as a galleon doing breast stroke. Hope you get back to it soon as it's good for our joints being supported by water.

Hi Jay,

Hope you have had a good weekend? I had a wobble on Friday felt really weak and hungry.

I had family staying this weekend and it’s literally been nonstop cooking for them and its been really hard. Got some advice of some lovely ladies who are also following Cambridge and ended up drinking more water and having a boiled egg. The 140 calorie sachets are too low for me I think with me upping my exercise. Seeing consultant tomorrow and changing to 200 cal sachets still just 3 a day though and see how that goes for a week or two.

Our swimming baths has a full length window as you walk from the changing rooms to the pool and you can see from reception I don’t feel comfortable yet to go plus it’s school holidays and full of kids if the gym had one I would probably go.

Glad you are enjoying your swimming and seeing an improvement in your laps. Xx

Well done for cooking and staying on track. My achievement was making really nice stuffed salmon and cucumber sandwiches for some friends who dropped in, and I didn't crack. They looked fab. Funny as I'm not usually a sandwich eater. In fact I rarely ate bread pre vlcd as I was doing lazy keto. And I didn't crave it. But dang, today's sandwiches looked sooo good!

Make yr consultant work - I'm sure s/he will have good advice for you.
