5 stone to lose & on Day 1

Well guys i'm finally on day 1. Panicing a bit already but wrote down all my reasons why i want this 5 stone gone and just keep reading them and then reaching for the water. Its only day 1 but i know from doing this before that it takes a few days to kick in. Looking forward to getting to know you all ;-) x

Hi Skinny (that's a positive start, picking your future nickname as a sign in!)

I think you should forget about losing 5 stone and just think about how nice it will feel to lose 1 stone (I'm about there and feel great) then think about the next 7lb and then the next stone etc - in other words, all achievable through small steps...

At my current 14-10 I know I will be Mr smiley face when I get below 14-7 (hopefully at my second WI on Thursday) and the thought of being below 14-00 in 2 or 3 weeks, wow...

Setting lots of small targets brings lots of small successes ;)

Welcome and congratulations on the birth of your baby!!!!!!

You know the drill and I am sure you will manage fine.

Agree with Ric, take it a stone at a time..too daunting otherwise. Good that you have been looking at the reasons why you are doing this and that is so important because when the tough gets going, you can reach for that list!

Give yourself some little mini goals ( I think I saw one on your signature)..Give yourself little treats when you reach your goal. Doesnt have to be of great value (money), but it will just give you a little boost.

I have been on LT for 11 weeks now, just coming up to Wk 12 and am pleased with the results and I re-feed on Friday and may come back after my hols....well, probably 99% certain I will. I know it works and it is hard, but boy, it rewards you and the feelings you just cant compare with anything else!

Have a great week; and as I always say Stay Positive, never negative or that little doubt will worm its way in.
Oh, and keep drinking the water :) Like I say, you know the drill already!

Welcome, in april i had 5 stone to lose and it sounded very scary, but now i only have 1 to go and that is a great feeling, good luck

I only joined this forum yesterday and am overwhelmed by the support other member have shown already,
