Start weight - 24 stone 😱

I'm 22, a law student, a mother and fat. 😭

I have an interactive thyroid and I suspect I have PCOS but my doctor literally doesn't want to know and blames everything on my dodgy thyroid.

Hopefully I can just post in here every day or two to just keep motivated! 😁
 
Going to get weighed tonight I think, had a long walk around town with my dad looking for clothes for my daughter so he can take her to the beach at the weekend.

Feel like giving up today.. think I'm having some self confidence issues (I'm ugly? I don't dress nice? I cant do makeup? My hair always seems rubbish? What's the point in losing weight?)

I got weighed today with my shoes on at this gym place so they could record my starting weight and it put me at 300.2lb so I'm hoping it was because of the shoes and I'm really still 298.5 or less lol. πŸ™„πŸ™„
 
Did something really stupid yesterday. I went to boots and got weighed at 21,3. Cool. Then I had a cheeseburger from McDonald's because everyone else did. And then we even went out for tea. Omg.. the calories..

Yeah I can't even justify it.. it raised by to 21, 6 last night.. woke up this morning at 21 4 and 3/4 lol no I'm not happy...

(Those scales are ALWAYS 1-2lb heavier than SW though so I don't even know where I stand lol which is very frustrating)

I don't know what was harder for me. Giving up smoking or going on slimming world and avoiding the mcdonalds drive thru on the way to work every morning to get a double sausage and egg mcmuffin!

It's bloody hard eating out isn't it! I've got a wedding on Saturday and the another on Wednesday. I have no idea what the menus are but I'm guessing they won't be very slimming world friendly! I've offered myself as the designated driver for both of them so I don't completely destroy it by drinking! I've got my Dad's birthday bbq coming up at the end of next month where I've said I'll have a few beers with him so I'm saving it for then!

Do you always weigh yourself most days? Does it fluctuate much? I've managed to avoid it since I started and only weighed on the Saturday despite the urge! My sister told me to stick to one day only, she's been doing it for a couple of years now, she then told me a couple of weeks ago she weighs herself most days...
 
I'm managing to pull it back I think but God do I hate eating out now :(

I do weigh myself most days and I can show you how my weight fluctuates. I'll post pictures in a second, I started slimming world on the 18th June at 24 stone and then on the 25th I'd lost 16.5 and I decided to start using the Wii fit on the 29th. X

On the plus side though.. absolutely 0 damage from my naughty day. Very lucky!
Had my first intense workout last night hence the drop today woo

3 stone in 6 weeks is some going! Do you use the wii fit for the exercise programs on there as well? I forgot it existed but have it somewhere around the house and am tempted to dig it out!
 
I do use it to do the jogging! I find the rest of the stuff doesn't get me as good a workout as the jogging but I do dabble in the hoolahooping and step game as a warm down lol
 
Hi sarloumack I hope you don't mind me popping by your diary, you are doing SO well! Well done on getting to a 3 stone loss, that is amazing!

Don't worry about a little blip / higher calorie day etc. The main thing is to get straight back on track - I did the same at the weekend.

I also daily weigh, I love to see the fluctuations and find it all so fascinating. As long as the trend is downward I don't mind.

Yeah I felt really guilty on Sunday but it was kind of my last meal out before I knuckle down for my excercise sessions (6 weeks to lose 20lbs for my full refund lol)

Weighing everyday keeps me in check, it would stop me reaching for snacks or a unhealthy choice! I love it haha xx
 
I'm going to stop updating my figures till Saturday because I'll end up over estimating haha but like I've always said my scales are about 1-2lb heavier than SW so my scales read 20st 13 and 3/4 which is really about 20st 11lb or 20st 12lb.. maybe I can go for my 3 1/2 at the same time lol.

Excuse the state of my feet been chasing toddler round the garden without shoes on πŸ™„
