Awesome! What a lovely target and goal :) You've got about 12 weeks ish so it's doable, will keep my fingers crossed for you :)

I have found that calorie counting is working well for me better than anything else ever has. I've lost 26lb in 5 weeks through using it with slimfast for most breakfasts and lunches. When I run out of the SF tins I won't be continuing them though, it was just a way of actually eating whilst I found out what was making all my food taste like bleach (was acid reflux) as that was stopping me eating properly. I take the occasional orlistat with my evening meal too (aka when I remember).

I didn't find that WW worked for me, WW wanted me to eat more food than I possibly could because of the points. I did have a refferal to SW too but I didn't find that it worked for me - I guess I'm not one for the 'groups' and I prefer doing it on my own :)

Haven't heard of herbal life what's it about? :) Are you carrying on SW? :)

Iv just been diagnosed with acid reflux, every meal/drink i had kicked the reflux off and caused my astma symptoms to kick off.i was so uncomfy all the time.i waz given 3 months worth of medication, its workin so far so good.

Iv done slimfast in the past, its worked well for me too and not expensive either.whats your goal? I think thats a brillant weighloss youv lost tje same as me in this little time, well done to you!

Herbal life is a food replacment diet, the same as slimfast but given a differnt name an costing a fortune(£90 a month)

It's horrible isn't it :( I tried to stop my meds for a little while so I could go to the toilet normally (sorry!!!!)it's sort of weighing up which is worse sometimes isn't it! :) Hope it carries on improving lovely :)

It's the first time I've done slimfast (I'm surprised by how nice the shakes are to be honest, I expected weak rubbish) but I've tried each flavour apart from the vanilla one (got it still to come, on caramel temptation at the minute :) ) I'm aiming for approx 12ish stone as I am quite tall (5ft 9) so I don't want to look poorly. Then again, I've never been that 'skinny' so I'm waiting till I'm nearer the weight to see how it is before I get a final goal :) What about you? :)

Thank you lovely - and well done to you too! :)

£90 is a hell of a lot! Is it a total food replacement diet? I suppose if it is it's not too bad - but then if the food is awful... it's hard to carry on things like that.

You could have reached a plateau, I know it's disheartening but keep going lovely, you can do it :)

( I can't talk on the exercise front lovely, I don't do it really either. I'm my mums carer so I'm generally too tired at the end of it. Other than general walking around (and the day to day stuff) there's little else I've done.

The herbal life is a breskfast smd lunch replacment meal plan,so imu still hav a meal in th evening...

Im aimin for 12ish stone too,i was happy at that weight. Im only 5'5 and always had a big bust ect.. So i like bein curvy,i just want to but feminine trendy clothes for a decent price, without payin through the nose for things.

I was looking for some inspiration for somthing new to kick start me again,an i think slimfast could be the answer.

Your weightloss is fabulous,i hope i do as well as you hun x

Awww thank you lovely :) You've lost more than me! You're doing fabulously!

With you on the bust thing, in year 8 I was in a DD cup and things haven't stopped since(!) it would be lovely to have a choice of clothes rather than Evans or Yours Clothing :)

It's worth a go if you think it'll work. It's always great to see the big numbers and keeps you going forward :)

I'm about 6weekish in so I must admit my tummy seems to have shrunk a little bit so I'm not so hungry. I struggle with hunger, I think it's cos of the acid reflux, I can't feel it anymore, I go straight to feeling really sick.

I agree with you about bread though, I love bread! Especially the white stuff! And naan bread/pittabread/paninis etc etc.

I do have a breadmaker that uses less salt/sugar etc but from what MFP has worked out the calorie content of each slice is horrific! (like 150cals each slice! goodness knows how!) so I tend to stick to weightwatchers bread at 51cals a slice and just have it every so often.
