790/1000 Kcal Plan

Just wondered if anyone else is following the 790 or 1000 Kcal plan and what kind of weight loss results you are getting.

I went back to my old cousellor on Friday and between us, we agreed that SS is just not for me and she has set me on the 790 with 3 cambridge meals Mon-Fri and the 1000 plan with 2 cambridge meals Sat-Sun.

I am also training to run Race for Life in July so don't feel so guilty about having food, ifyswim!?

Could also do with some advice as to what foods to eat!!

Good on you training for race for life! I do it every year and you just can't beat the atmosphere. You will have a blast!!

Your yellow book tells you allowed foods/quantities and there's a sticky with meal ideas at the top of the page.

Losses on 790 are around 10-12lbs per month (so only a couple off SS losses on average per month). I believe losses on 1000 are a couple of lbs per week (I'm sure someone will correct me if that is wrong), but if you are training for your race the higher plans are much better for you.
