I started my first day yesterday, nearly made it to the end of day 2. Having no real issues apart from a bit of a headache. Don't feel hungry but temptation is still quite strong at this stage so need to focus to get through it but very proud of myself so far.
I am using the strawberry and banana ready made shakes so far. There seems to be a bit of a bitter aftertaste which surprised me because everyone says how nice they are. My consultant thinks it might be because they are ready made and I'll find the sachets better. Does anyone else find this?
I'm looking for some support and suggestions for what people think are nice and not so nice tasting of the product range.
I am doing this because I have severe psoriatic arthritis and lupus and immobility and corticosteroids have added a lot of weight to the already ample frame I had after having my 4 daughters. My health really needs the loss as my joints are struggling and each sun induced lupus flare is, I'm confident, exacerbated because the heat feels worse because of my size.
I also went back to University and will be starting my final year in October. Having my degree is my life's ambition, after getting married and having children (both of which I have achieved) but the thought of having my graduation day photos with me as I am and so unhappy is my motivation to get rid of this. I use the words "get rid" as opposed to lose weight because I don't intend to find it again once its gone.
I've been told the worst days will be 4 & 5 which is making me a little nervous. Would love some advice from anyone on how to make the days easier.
