A Big Blip

I was meant to start eating properly today...But i was half way to work this morning when i realised that i had forgotten my lunch and brekkie (a very healthy one mind, all home made lol) i leave home so early that i cant eat @ that time. Anyways...so what did i have for breakfast.....? I went to mcdonalds:eek::eek: (i havent been there for over 5 months) which is very very very very good for me!

I dont even want to know what the syn value was:eek:! But i was all gee'd up to start today, and i've blown it. But im not going to dwell on it, normally i would think to myself stuff it and pig out for the rest for the day. But im not going to do that and I WILL go and buy somthing sensible for lunch.

I think this time around on SW i am going to be a little more adventurous normally i would cook the same old things, but im going to experiment more with different foods. And try things that i dont normally eat....i may suprise myself and actually like it! lol

Hi there,

Why dont you just start SW from now? Forget about what happened this morning - its already in the past, just draw a line under it and start from this minute onwards! If you beat yourself up too much about going to McDonalds then you will jusy eat more crap during the course of the day thinking 'what the hell, i've blown it anyway', so just accept you made a mistake and move onwards and downwards!!

Hi carrie, thanks for the reply.

Your definatly right, i will start from now and if im good for the rest of the week and have no extra syns and step up my excercise a bit i shouldnt hopefully pay too much for it on the scales.

Don't go beating yourself up over what you had this morning, otherwise the rest of the day will just be a gorge of fattening foods! Put it behind you and start a fresh!

I am re-starting today too!

another restarter here too after a few bad days, the others are right - forget about it and move on ;)
