    Dear all,

I have just started on Xenical this week and am pretty excited about it - am hoping this will be it now for me! However I have to go away a lot for work and when I do, it's difficult from both a practical and psychological perspective to stay on track. I am considering getting some meal replacement bars (eg slimfast) that I can eat for lunch when I am away next, as this is the meal for which it will be the most difficult for me to source something healthy. What do people think about this?

Also am feeling some indigestion/trapped wind type pains, is this common at first?

    Thanks a lot!

    Cmeloseit.

I felt really awful the first few days of taking xenical and also had some stomach pains. Did settle down within about 10 days or so. Found that not eating fruit after meals (except berries) made a difference too, before meals is fine though.

Have you tired tuna light lunches, they are a good healthy meal that you can carry round with you, don't need to go in the fridge and are perfect for lunches.

    Hello

I did not get any indigestion or wind cramps until my 4th day! I had them quite bad sunday evening. But they soon past so hope yours go soon too.

I am new to Xenical so will leave the more experienced one to advise about the meal replacement bars but welcome to the forum and Xenical :wavey:
