    Hello!!!

I'm currently on Lipotrim (like Lighter Life) and am planning for when I come off it as I know I can't stick it out until I get to goal.
I stumbled over the Dukan diet today and have ordered the book as I love Atkins but don't want to eat high fat foods.

I was wondering about the oatbran? I can see on here that people say it's really important but why? Does this not stop you getting into Ketosis?

I reckon the attack phase will be a breeze for me- after nothing but 3 sickly shakes a day, chicken, chicken, and more chicken sounds like a dream!!

The oatbran dosent stop ketosis. It helps move things along and fills you up.

Also nice to have something to make things with (gallette, muffin, cake) that have different texture.

    Cool thanks!
I'm getting quite excited about starting this - don't know how people only have shakes for months at a time! I'm on day 12 and starting to feel the end is nigh!
My mouth is watering at the thought of chicken tikka!
ooh and I love cottage cheese 'quiche' from Slimming world days!

    Hey Lisa :)
oh yes the cottage cheese quiches will be a godsend - unfortunately I got really sick of them lol.
and the oatbran also helps the fat come out of your body! very important.
    best of luck :D

    morrisons sell it too.
Oh i know I really miss pineapple. According to the UK dukan you can have the higher than 0.1% fat one as in the UK we struggle to get anything as low or lower. Ive had the cheese and chive tesco one and still lost.

As Jo has said on other posts, they have had to change the diet for the UK as fat free items are not as easy to get.

My only worry is that as I'm already in ketosis but also on a vlcd that my body might go mad an I start putting on weight!
