A sort of poem sort of describing our SW journey

Slimming world not a diet but more a way of life
For countless years too much drink too much food a very bad way of life
I now have so many clothes none of them are my sizes I have gladly traded them in for slimming world and it's wonderful slimmer of the week prizes

We go to group we stand in line we wait to see if our weight is fine,
Our turn is called we step on the scale will we laugh or will we wail
A cheeky gain, a lovely loss have you shown the scales who's boss

The result is given your book retained You feel so proud you haven't gained
A goal is reached a sticker stuck you've had the best, the best of luck
Or maybe not Your book returned your feeling down your feeling burned

But we don't go, we take a chair it's only a setback it's not despair
How did you do? I hoped the same, I've been quite bad so I should have gained
But even though your feeling glum, a usual loss is the rule of thumb

Who's done 5 or maybe 4 is there a 3 at least a 2 who's won the raffle was it you
We have a laugh, we give a clap were very proud the group has lost
We speak of cheating and what we'll have but we all know the cost!

So in the end the evenings done on the journey home we remember the fun
One more week we have to wait till once again we know our fate
Slimming World our way of life still not easy, but still not strife.
