    RIGHT

I didnt buckle the other day and have stayed 100% to the diet since my little chicken outburst!

    BUT

I have to say that the reaction of people on here to some of my questions has been quite aggressive!

IT IS A NORMAL HUMAN REACTION to be hungry etc.

Whilst the hunger is gone its the social side of the diet that is the downfall!

IM NOT GOING TO PRETEND that im enjoying this, because im not.

Im loving seeing the results etc but it is by no means an enjoyable experience!

IF I ASK questions about what is best its because ive not been told by my pharmacy and im looking for support!

THE FACT EVERYONE here in my last thread told me to give up i thought was FAR from supportive!

Im down 24lb and that was with a mini slip up last week!

    IM NOT BEING NEGATIVE

I AM IN THE RIGHT FRAME OF MIND

    QUESTIONS ARE HYPOTHETICAL

IM NOT GOING TO GIVE IN

David, nobody told you to give up, you're a grown man aren't you? What we did was give you the advice that you asked for.....on numerous occasions.

This will be the very last time that I respond to any of your posts because personally I think that you need to grow up and take responsibility for your actions.

I wish you the very best of luck.

At what point have I not taken responsibility?

I eat a wee bit of chicken last week to which I owned upto and then pulled the diet right back into sync! I've been 100% ever since!

I put a question out there, a scenario that wasn't 100% the diet and got nothing but abuse from you!

I don't need to grow Sandra I know my mind and I know my body I'm not some reckless teenager whose always looking for excuses to not do something! I've been on this diet a week and a half and I'm adapting my mind and my lifestyle. It's not going to happen over night! It's a massive change of pace for me' but one I'm dealin with!

I'm not here to make enemies it argue and fall out with people! I'm here for peer support because t the end of the day we've all been through it

I have to agree David, I have at times foudn this forum far from supportive and have noticed the little "cliques" who give "advice" and then turn out to be complete hypocrits. Which is why I dont bother coming on here much. Well done so far, you are right, it's a very difficult diet and most people on it will have had a blip, so dont worry so much x

    David,
I commented on your last thread and most certainly did not tell you to give up.
I said "if and when you feel tempted to stray just look at your losses so far".
I am struggling like crazy myself. I am into week 5 and have yet to do a week 100% but that is down to me.
I have found this forum a massive help and have yet to find anyone unfriendly on here.
I wish you luck with this but i just wanted to set straight that i have never told anyone to quit xx

In fairness David, I think you asked for advice on what to do when you went out, and you got it. I think you're feeling cross because it perhaps wasn't exactly what you wanted to hear, and you would've liked to have been told it would be okay to have a diet coke or some protein or whatever. You know that this diet is TFR. Nothing is allowed other than what's written on the back of the bag your Lipotrim comes in, and if you don't have that, then what is shown on the Lipotrim webiste - very useful video on there. I didn't post on the thread as I would've given exactly the same advice, and as it had already been said, there didn't seem a need for me to do so. Well done on staying 100% though!

    p_mcg - Interesting :-/

Lol!!!!!!! Just read your other thread David about your "big dilemma"
If you don't want to hear the truth from people who are here to seriously keep to this TOTAL FOOD REPLACEMENT diet 100% then you are definitely in the wrong place!
Lol the diet is summed up in it's name TFR! There's ALWAYS going to be a party or an event! 3 weeks into the diet was MY birthday, I celebrated with choc shakes and plenty of water whilst my fiancé tucked into pizza and beers. I got through it coz im here for the long haul 100% all or nothing!

Oh my god how many times! I am committed ive strayed once and that was for boiled chicken! The attitudes in here are awful sometimes!

I was asking a perfectly valid question and I got people saying this was the wrong diet for me'!

It's clear there's been a miscommunication here. I can't speak for everyone but those I know here only have your best interests at heart. Whilst its true some practise a tough love approach I really don't think any malice was intended.

There's none of us perfect and we all need support on this diet. It's great that you're here and posting and hopefully future misunderstandings can be avoided. This is a friendly helpful community, I don't feel anyone would come here deliberately to upset or offend, its just that we all have different ways of expressing opinions, some are blunt and direct and if you don't know a person its easy to take it personally.

Good luck with your LT journey.

To be honest David, looking at your post history, this is all a bit de ja vu for you isn't it? You've done Lipotrim before, asked the same questions, posted the same negative/defeatist comments, and then gone off on one when you received some honest responses not to your liking.

Everyone finds this diet hard and positive thinking has a lot to do with success and in my opinion, the support that this forum gives to those who are having a bad day or hard time is second to none. We give support, words of encouragement and the odd occasional kick up the backside because we care. We know how tough it can be, we know how much we want to lose the weight, we know that everyone we know who isn't doing the diet is telling us we're bonkers and not being healthy and we know that by coming on here and getting some positive vibes from those who aren't having such a bad day is extremely valuable.

You always seem to be having a bad day and despite the words of encouragement from other fellow Lipotrimmers your posts contain the same comments.... I can't do this, is it worth it, can I eat, can I drink. I can understand why these people who have bothered to give you support, encouragement and words of wisdom, which by the way you asked for, are beginning to get a bit fed up.

I will continue to be pleased at your weight losses and I will continue to congratulate you when you tell us about a craving/temptation that you overcame. What I won't be doing is wasting time and effort of posting on your negative comments, which is a shame because if you genuinely are having a bad day I won't be able to differentiate it from you general negative posts and I won't be able to give you the TLC you'll be needing.

I really hope you can crack the diet this time and I hope you start using this forum to it's full potential as it really can be best friend just when you need it most. xxx

David, I'm sorry that you are upset Offence was not intended.
However, you stated you intended, not wondered if you should or shouldnt, eat and drink at a party at the weekend. It was the statement of intent that evoked stern replies.
TFR is a tough regime to follow and this forum is a great support network. I have found it invaluable.
All the best for continued success.

The reputation comments that people have sent me would seem to suggest that many people feel exactly the same as I do but are simply reticent to say so on a public forum.........

I've been reading this post wondering if I should comment...

This is a public forum, your going to get different opinions, some you will like, some will drive u up the wall, and prob make you wanna slap someone lol

I've had moments of both on here, and I've prob caused both, but you get on with it, and it's quickly forgotten...

So can't we all just get along, tomorrow is a new day...

    Feel the love xx lol
