Abs exercises - how many?!

I'm on a mission to tone up my abs - I'm battling on with the weight loss through diet and general exercise, but need more core stability for riding and dancing anyway.

I've been doing sit-ups twice a day for a week. In the morning I do 50 with a crunch-frame and 20 eccentric contractions staring sitting up with feet anchored and lowering myself to about 55 degrees and back to upright, so AM work out mainly works upper.

In the evening I do 20 crunches (no frame), 20 on each side for obliques, and am going to start including 20 pelvic lifts for my lowers.

I'm finding it quite easy and don't think I should be (!) so should I be upping the number or crunches, or the speed, or somehow making them more difficult? I do start to feel the burn towards the end of each set of reps, but I'm not 'feeling' it later in the day / week at all.
