    Howdy folks.

today is my first day on cd for the final rush to my wedding... no. i'm not getting married in 10 days, ha.

but i do have 10 days before i have to work with anyone else. i have engineered my shifts so i am either working alone or not at all for the next 10 days to make sure i am firmly in the cd groove before sitting in an IT department full of chaps eating junk...

so. the plan is to stick with it for 10 days. no eating...

if anyone wants to join me that would be fab, but i WILL do this.

10 days seems like a perfectly reasonable chunk of time to succeed in. not too long, not too short.

    so here i go!!

i'll need watching!! saying that, absolute terror of the dress should keep me in check :D

i'm getting married on the 18th of july.

i don't know exactly when i'm being fitted for my dress but i believe it will be mid-june. so i have two months until that fitting. and then a final one i believe. but i won't know any of this until the dress shows up... ha. if i haven't heard anything by the end of may i'll give them a ring :)

so two months... if i could get rid of two stones in that time (plus the extra 10lbs that have materialised after getting my implant taken out) then i should be around 12 stone. but that 10lbs that appeared over the course of a week whilst i was doing sw are what tipped me over the edge into total and utter panic... hence cd a month earlier than i had planned. am hoping it's hormonal and will just vanish!! ha.

I'm with you on that one Abz - bite-size chunks and all that, tho' that's probably not the right thing to say!!
Working in a school, have been off the last week anyway, so the first week was easier to cope with. But back to work in 10 days with cakes, biscuits etc in the staff room will be a different story.
I am also going away for the weekend 'til Monday to visit family so that will be hard too, especially as can't get internet so won't be able to get my motivation from this site! So a 10 day challenge seems just right for me!
Good luck with the restart! And here's to the next 10 days...

    Hi Abz

I am on day 2 today - and have 13 days til my dress fitting for my sisters wedding, im maid of honour, so although its a little more than 10 days - can i join in too? need to be 100% ss+ for the next 12 weeks or til i reach goal, but 10 days is a good motivation!

    take care

the wedding is 6th June, and its the first fitting, so got 8 weeks today to shift as many pounds as possible, although i know the dress fis as it is now, but id rather be a bit more comfortable in it

i don't think i've time it that well. being at goal before christmas like i was supposed to be would have been a better plan!!

getting to 11st 7, which is my ultimate goal, is now nigh on impossible. but i'm going to get as close as i can :)

i want to lose 2 stone by 18th june. am hoping to have lost more by july, ha.

no, we are getting married in york. the majority of people coming are in england, and it would be twice as expensive to do everything in denmark. so england it is :)

i am going to ss or ss+

i may have to take a few higher days in a month or so but hopefully not. the ss+ option would only be skimmed milk so i can have cups of tea i think. but i'm going to see how i go. i've done this before and i know where my weaknesses lie, ha. but the terror of the dress is going to keep me in line. i'm determined this time!! and one day at a time is all i can do. so that's what i'm going to concentrate on. dress terror and one day at a time should do it, hee.

mine is just watching to graze all day. i like shoving things in my mouth it would seem. i like socialising and most of our social events with friends involve food. so that's going to be really hard.

looks like we've the same to lose and about the same time period. so let's go for it :D

i'm feeling the first pangs of hunger, ha. have got the water ready to glug :D

ok abz , lets go for this ....and yes start drinking , not as good as food , but you know you want this more than food !!!!
OH so you do alot of things that involve food , you will hang in there and do your best , just eat a chicken drum stick and remove the skin , my daughter eats my chicken skin , best bits when hot out of the oven . Just think with your goal set in mind , we all want to see them wedding pics even more reason to get this diet moving ! :)

ha. i know i'll be fine. i think part of the problem was that i started feeling happy about the way i looked. which of course is a good thing. but it meant that i got despondent. and then despite being on sw and ww didn't lose, and i followed them to the letter. my body hates losing weight. it always has. and cambridge worked incredibly slowly for me last time, but it bloody worked and i lost nearly 3 stone. then i got my implant out and nearly a stone of that is back on now and i'm totally traumatised. i'm sure it will drop off as it will have been hormonal weight. but with an impending wedding i just don't have the time to wait and see. hence cambridge. i must must must get to a size 16 at the very least as that's the size of dress i've bloody ordered and i'm a small 18 at the mo...

i really really really want to be a size 14 again before the wedding... but i'll take what i can get :)
