I get this now and then and its very painful. Does anyone know what i cant take for it that won't take me out of ketosis?

I have considered some skimmed milk (from 810 step) but i really want to do CD 100%.

    Thanks xx

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking more along the line of them rennie or gaviscon tablets. I dont really want anything on perscription.

I tried the omeprazole and for some reason it made me gain weight. Is zantac on perscription too?

    Thanks again xx

rennie and gaviscon check the labels to make sure theres no hidden stuff like citric acid. i took some tums on a particularly bad night and ended up out of ketosis. zantac ( ranitadine ) is available from supermarkets, i use morrisons own brand ranitadine ( think the pack just says indegestion remedy, they are tablets )

Hey, thanx for the info. I never thought of looking out for things like citric acid, i thought i'd just take the sugar free tablets. I have found that a glass of skimmed milk also helps but i will look for the ranitadine when i'm next in Morrisons.

    Thanks agen :) xx

Hi not sure if it will help or not, but my OH used to suffer with Acid reflux really bad, and he used to have Apple cider vinegar - you can get it from Holland and barratt, liqurice (cant spell it :) ) tea, some kind of soda powder stuff, not sure if it will fit in with the diet but if it helps then good, if you google natural remedys for acid reflux im sure loads more will help
