Advice on carbs please

    I have a weekend away in just under 4 weeks (the bank holiday) and I'd like to be ideally 10-14 pounds lower than I am now. Would my best bet be eliminating starchy carbs? I'm already calorie counting but my weight has stayed the same for two weeks and I have toast for breakfast, pasta at lunch and sometimes pasta for tea.

    Whats my my best bet? I want it to come off but I want it to stay off too! I have 20 pounds in total to go.

    Would really appreciate your feedback :)

    how many calories are you having? i wouldn't eliminate carbs, your body needs carbs and fat to function. i just try to make sure all my meals are balanced, i have 350cal meals for lunch and dinner, 250 for breakfast and a few 100 cal snacks throughout the day to get to 1200 calories, this for me is the quickest way to loose without me being hungry by keeping my food intake up every 2-3 hours. hope this helps.

    I'm on 1200 too. Start of the week I only had my toast then tuna salad and quorn with veggies but IV had carbs throughout the day most of the week as IV needed the energy so I guess the scale will tell me on Monday! It's 3 weeks today so I'm running out of time but I guess I will still have a good time.

    I dont eat sugar or refined carbohydrate and unrefined carbohydrate is an occasional treat for me. It has made a huge difference to my weight-loss journey. Everyone is different, give it a go and see if it works for you. Xxx
