Why not tell her about diet? After all, it's nothing you should be ashamed of! :) You'll most probably find that she admires that you have the willpower to do something like this. It's up to you ultimately, but it would save awkwardness and you'd be able to focus on catching up. :)

I agree. You should just tell her you are on this fab diet and how healthy you are going to be. You can meet for a meal afterwards and celebrate you new slinky body :greenapple:

Unless she is really *****y and will make you feel crap about the diet then I would tell her!

Otherwise just say oh im sorry Im not feeling hungry.. Or Ive got a big dinner planned later, but go ahead and eat I dont mind...

Tell her!!!

A friend should understand why you are doing this even if they dont agree with it :)

Tell her you dont mind her eating infront of you and that you are just appreciating time being spent with them catching up :)

I understand how you feel- I don't want anyone to know I'm on it yet either.
I've use the 'tummy-bug' excuse a few times now (with different people!) and its been fine, plus I have an 'excuse' to drink lots of water- "I'm afraid of getting dehydrated".

It's a difficult one if it's someone you haven't seen in a while and can be daunting.

If you're not comfortable telling her - just say you had a late breakfast and you're not hungry.

I must annoy my friends and family 'cos I dont stop talking about LT, just as I always talked about cooking a recipes before. As long as you dont beak your diet.....go with the flow, I'm sure you will have a lovely time.
