I hope i am in the right place here. If not i apologise

I am calorie counting and planning on having some So Juicy Mexican Chicken for my evening meal.

So Juicy is basically a powder of herbs and spices and one adds their own ingredients to it.

My question is.. How many calories is the powder/herbs? on the pack it says

per 100g of recipe mix 295kcal...

is this just the powder form or does this include all the other things it tells you to add yourself? seems a lot of calories just for a powder/herb mix?

Hi there

Looks like thats including the chicken. Just looked at their website and it says about 240 cals per portion. I would assume this is based on you using the amount of chicken they specify on the packet and it being eaten in thier portion sizes (ie whole amount serving four people)

Hope that helps!

Hi, you take the calorie count of the powder (keeping in mind a pack is 45g and I assume you'll be sharing with others? So the calorie count for 45g/the number of portions you'll get from the packet) then add the calories for all the other ingredients you'll be putting in the pack.

I share a pack between 2 and the spice mix usually works out at about 50 calories ish.
