I had to share, I found it quite hilarious.
Right, a friend of mine is my character reference on my CV. When I applied initially to work at Asda, in December, she was my second referee.
I worked over xmas at Asda, and have been called back (been working there for nearly 3 weeks) My friend received a letter about 3-4 days ago asking for a reference. I asked her to photocopy the letter just so I could have a nosey.
We met for coffee, before I trundled off to work and she brought the sheet with the questions on....these are the answers she put:
How long have you known this person? 5 yrs
In what capacity? Friend
Are you related? Not that I know of
Are they
Honest? ish
Reliable? Excuses for poor timekeeping at least are imaginative
Healthy? See large file at G.P's surgery
Industrious? When not tired (approx 1/2 day per week)
Responsible? Is very good with pet cat
Interested in the welfare of others? See facebook
Any personal weakness? See attached sheets
Do you know of any reason why this person should not be employed by us? See attached sheets.
What a bish! And that's why I love her!
