Angie's losing weight: A 100 pound cocoon!

    Decided to keep a diary of this process and place it here. I am currently off owrk having been diagnosed with high blood pressure on new years eve. The new years resolution was pretty easy for me this year. I knew I was at risk of it due to a family history yet I had let myself remain obese for years and not took any real exercise.
    I had endeavoured to lose weight before and managed a fair bit on a VLCD lipotrim then when I increased the calores slightly my hair started falling out. I knew it was a risk but hoped it wouldn't happen to me.
    I have tried weightwatchers, slimming world.....well anything that I thought would get me on track. I basically think any diet will work but only when you are mentally in the right place.
    I need quick results and I need one on one support these are two main factors for me. My GP doesn't really want me to do a VLCD again as he thinks it may be a little stressful with the way my BP is and the side effects I am getting from the tablets. Have to say he didn't then offer me any guidance on an alternative. So I thought I would try Herbalife and try to keep around the 1200 calories a day limit.
    I will talk about the herbalife in that forum as I will try and stoke up som activity over there.
    So I am going to aim for a 100 pounds this year. Nice round number lol.
    My weight was bang on 18 stone which has a 51% body fat composition and I have a metabolic rate of around 1700 cals which gave me a metabolic age of 53...I would kind of like to reverse those numbers to have one of a 35 year old and then get the 35 year old man to go with it lol.
    2nd day on the programme and is pretty much all ok nothing major to report. Not hungry, drinking fluids but couldn't resist some ham so took it off my evening meal allowance.
    Will look at exercise plans tomorrow....
