    From previous responses I've seen on here I think most people are ok taking them whilst on CD. I certainly took Gaviscon most days for the 6 months I was on it and it did me no harm. You may want to try Zantac which should stop you getting the acid in the first place rather than Gaviscon (or the equivalent) which treats it once you've got it.

    Hi, thanks for reply, its not the acid, its more windy type feelings in my stomach. antacids generally settle it down
