I have two lovely whippets (the first time I've had dogs as an adult) and they are truly part of the family.

Would love to hear about your pooches!

I have a husky b*tch. And she really is a b*tch lol. I can safely say if she wasn't so cute (and expensive!) she'd be homeless haha nobody would put up with her but me. But like you said, they're family, aren't they? And I wouldn't swap her for the world.

Oh alright, maybe I'd swap her for instant hot body! lol

My family own a russian black terrier called Frank, but he does go by some other names too some not exactly repeatable when hes playing up haha! Hes only 5 and a half months but hes massive and hes only gonna get bigger. When hes good hes very good but when hes bad id quite cheerfully strangle the little...!
Hes got a thing about water so if hes misbehaving he likes to get as much water in his mouth from his water bowl as possible and then walk around dripping it all over the floor, which of course gets him attention, cos my dad worries to death about the wooden floor being ruined so ends up chasing after him with a towel to wipe his 'beard'! Its quite entertaining to watch tho i must say!

I really really really want a dog. My gran had cairn terriers so I grew up always having a dog around and loved it! If it wasn't for the current rent agreement / everyone working full time so no one home to take care of one, I would definitely have a dog or 2! So for now I'm stuck with tropical fish, not quite the same :(

We've got a bonkers basset hound, she is mad and a bit smelly  but we still love her :D

I have a border terrier called Alfie, he's 6 months old now and he is soooooo loving! The only trouble we have with him is he hates being left alone which is going to be a long and slow process!

I also have a husky bit ch ... who is a real bit ch too.. hehe. But I love her really, she is just VERY stubborn and doesnt tend to follow the breed standard should we say. hehe.

I have a Rhodesian ridgeback x rottweiler and a Labrador x Dalmatian. Massive part of my life. Grown up around dogs and would never ever be without one. Would love to work with animals but so very hard to get into!

Here is a photo of mine when Dita was just 9 weeks old. Dita is now 3 and Barney (the white one) is sadly no longer with us (he was 13 when this photo was taken and lasted until he was 16).

Dogs are a huge part of my life, I have been known to randomly burst into tears at the thought of Dita "passing on". When Barney went I was distraught- I honestly don't think I would be worse if I lost a parent.

When OH takes Dita out for a walk, I can't focus til she gets back!! It's weird having an empty house.

What made you decide to get a Husky?
I think they're such beautiful dogs. There are a few people
near where I live have them now but I don't think i could commit to the hours and hours of exercise they need.

I am fostering a pointer atm, he is from the rescue centre where I help out. He is so thin his bones stick through and wasnt do too well in the kennels so I am trying to build him up a bit and make him look more attractive to his prospective owners.

I have a border terrier too! She is 3 and mental! She also hates being left alone
They are the most amazing little dogs and I'd have lots of them if I didn't work. So full of character.

My dog is my baby :D Like Jez, I get upset of the thought of her not being with us, and she's only 3!!!

I have a gorgeous 14 month golden lab. She is my baby :)

Since I was a kid, there's always been dogs in our family. If I found a stray dog in the street, I'd bring it home and beg to keep it, (I was actually a lot like Elvira from the Looney Toons cartoons haha, "I'll love you, and hug you, and kiss you...")
We had mongrels, sheep dogs, poms, a rottie...At one stage we had 22 dogs, as both our dogs (b*tches) had litters at the same time. THAT was fun haha.

When I was 16 I moved into a flat, and wasn't allowed to have a dog, so I got two cats. Two cats who refused to come with me when I moved, so I had to foster them out to the neighbour lol.
When I moved into a house, I got a small Scottish terrier. He was taken from our garden. I swore I'd never get another dog. I was distraught.

But then I always did want a husky, and had researched the breed, and blah, blah. One Xmas I had a windfall in the shape of a thousand euro, which I won in a karaoke competition. So I got my Mischka. She's temperamental, bossy, bouncy, hyper, demanding, destructive, bold, and has epilepsy. But she's like one of my kids. I loves her!

Haha everyone says that. His spots have never come through bless him. He has a white patch of fur on his chest and a bit on his chin and thats it.
You can see in his face though as its skinnier than a lab. Hehe, love my boys! :D:D

Here is our gorgeous boy!

He is a three and half year old English Springer Spaniel called Bertie.......
