Any october starters??

Hi hun, i might be starting in october. I'm just waiting for a LL counsellor to get back to me. I'm so anxious and excited about the prospect of starting LL (i've been trying to restart CD for ages now) but will depend on if i can get my LL forms signed.

Hey thanks!! Gd luck gettin ur form signed!! i had a job getting mine done as gp wouldnt sign it but i went private so there are ways around it! gd luck 2 u 2!

Anymore October people out there?

Was thinking there are quite a few sep starters, maybe people are not wanting to start now until after Christmas? The thought of no Christmas dinner is too much?

I have already decided I'm not having Christmas dinner. I will be so close to the end by then I wont want to spoil it.

Welcome aboard, how are you getting on? I found my first day the worst but yesterday was good and getting on fine today regardless of the rest of the family sitting eating a chippy in the other room UGHHH! I just cant wait to tuck into my mushroom soup lol.

HI, its going ok thanks. Yesterday was not too bad, went swimming in the evening to distract myself. Today I am hungry, but got my half way through the week weigh in in the morning so looking forward to that. Soups and shakes are better than I was expecting.

Hiya all - I restarted on Tues on the quiet (had a few packs left) and saw my counsellor last night. Start weight 14st 1, and aiming at 12st. I know that sounds high but it puts me in a 14 which is fine for me!

janinejak - hope all goes well in your weigh in, our group had a drop in today but I couldn't make it as my car is in the garage, I really wanted to go as well, only a few more days until my weigh in for week 1 so just have to get through the weekend.

Vorlina - Its all about what you feel happy with, good luck and stick around, seen as you have doneit before im sure we will have lots of questions.

Hi there, I'm new here, but not to LL. I'm starting again tomorrow as I've put on all the weight, plus extra!
My group is a Wednesday, but I have enough packs to do me until then. I've never had the counselling part of the diet, as the LLC let me start on my own as there was no group starting for a while, but this time I'm starting in a group and hope the counselling is what I need. I quit smoking in February, so now the weight has to go!
Have you much to lose? I'm 13st 10, and goal is 10st. I'm very excited!
Looking forward to getting to know you all, and hope we can encourage and motivate each other all the way! xxx

Hi Pumpkin!!

Im only on week 1 but I dont think I could do it without having the group, its like your part of something and all doing it together. There is no way I am gonna be the only one in the group to fail!! I think it will make a huge difference to you being in the group.

I am 13st 8 and want to get down to 9st 7lbs so we have similar goals!! Good Luck, keep coming on this to keep you focused and let us know how you get on

I know how you feel SB2B, I had to wait ages and getting so frustrated at seeing other people start and lose weight while I was still waiting. I think the actual waiting helps it makes you so determined and it the right mind set for your first week. I wouldn't say I have sailed through my first week but I have to say its been easier than I imagined and I feel very positive. This time next week you will be well on your way. Ive got my weigh in tmrw night and i am really looking fwd to seeing everyone again. Woop!
