Hi, I've been on CD before and March 2010, I was 12st after losing 5st over a year. It was the lightest I'd been in 5years having put lots of weight on after having my children.

Anyways I stupidly ended up putting lots of weight on and am now 16st. I would ideally like to be 11st and would like to do this before I turn 30 in July. I want to start my 30's on a happy, positive note. Start how you mean to go on, right?

So here I go again, I'm not saying I'll never be back but positive thinking has got me to day 5 on the diet and firmly in ketosis.

So if anyone wants to share their "journey" with me or if anyone could share their experiences with me, then it'd really help me.

My sob story! Lol. I'm a single (by choice-low self esteem) parent with two young children in primary school. My evenings are spent alone which I love but can be tough on CD but I still prefer doing if away from people. Minimins is my only really source of support.

    Thanks for stopping by.

    Hi Sonya

I started on Thursday, I weighed in at 15.11 and firstly want to get down to 12.7 asap. I feel really positive about this, the lady that recommended me is so enthusiastic about the plan I feel like I have really caught the bug.

Good luck with your weight loss :)

    Hey there,

Have you got any events coming up or outfits you want to get into? Anything to keep you motivated?

CD consumes my whole life while I'm on it which it shouldn't but I'm a bit obsessive! Lol.

Hi, yes I have got my anniversary May 21st hoping to be at 12.7 then!

Had a big sort out of my wardrobe yesterday, can't wait to go shopping in it, have some lovely smaller clothes.

I can see myself getting addicted to the Ketostix, although they are not showing anything yet.

Have you got anything coming up to keep you motivated?

    Peta :)

You target weight is definitely obtainable. My sons birthday is on the 22nd and I'm hoping to be close to 12st too. I'm feeling positive at the moment.

I sorted all my clothes out last year when I lost weight so everything is tight on me as I was adamant not to buy anything in a bigger size! Thank god for leggings and long tops!

My biggest motivation is my 30th in July. When I am the weight I am, I become a recluse and stop socializing and feel like a complete failure. That's the one thing I love bout this diet, I feel good and proud to be doin something bout my weight.

How tall are you? I'm 5' 9" and I think I should be having 4 "meals" a day but I'm ok on 3.

When's your next weigh in? I'll be going to see my CDC on Monday 8.30am before all my water consumption! Lol.

I am going to see my CDC on friday after all my water consumption good luck with your weigh in on Monday.

6 years wedding anniversary, just wan't to feel like me again, I totally understand the recluse thing, it's just the easy option - but totally not me. I am only 5'4" but will be a 14 when I get down to 12.7 yipeee.

Would be very happy with a 14 I can't imagine being any less. My wardrobe has lots of different sizes can't wait to bin the larger ones, not sellable too worn.

Hey Veve, 8lbs is a great 1st week loss. Aw 13 wks old! I really want a baby, I know its kind of impossible cos I'm actually single. Lol. I'd love a baby though, until it reached the age 1 anyways!! Do you have something keeping you motivated? I'll apologise now to everyone cos I suffer from OCD and want to know everything about CD when I'm doing it!

Thanks peta101dm (what are your names?) for the good wishes. I'm itching to get weighed, silly really.

6 years hey! Thats superb. Congrats.

I'm an extroverted person and enjoy socialising. I love being host and getting people together. Unfortunately I don't get to do this as much as I would like to due to the weight. Especially since putting 4st on from last year, I feel like everyone is talking about me more now or maybe that is just my own insecurities coming to the surface. On a really petty note, my sister in law is a right so and so and she was bigger than me last year and is now a lot thinner. She is so up herself and I can see her revel in my misery everytime I see her. The situation between us is bad and we dont talk at ALL. Mainly cos she is such a spoilt brat and is unable to handle any conflict with maturity.

Well now I've had a good rant, time to move on! Lol.

Doing well and glugging the water. The only way I manage is by having set time limits to finish a litre of water. How are you guys doing?

Welcome pixar. Are we all doin ss? When is your next weigh in?

Oh my god veve! I'm so pleased that someone else can empathise with me, not that I wish this on anyone! Lol.

I'm very family orientated and being an Indian, we've always had large families so when she caused a split in the family, it broke my heart. I'm the only sister and have three older brothers. I love kids but I was the only sibling that had children. Then my sister in law had a boy 15 months ago and she won't let me or my children see him. We only get to see each him at family gatherings when, if she can be bothered to come and my brother has never had him alone. It breaks my heart as my brother would cradle my daughter for hours when she was born and I was so looking forward to do the same with my nieces and nephews.

Wow! This is very therapeutic. Lol.

Have you not got on with your sister in law from the start? Simple, effective revenge, everyone wins! All we need to do is stay on track and we will look amazing.

How is everyone doing on CD? Feeling good?

Hey yummymummy, well done on that great loss! It's a great motivator to see your success on the scales.

I was bout 18 stone at my heaviest. I really never saw myself that big. Best thing I did was finding at starting this diet. My weight might go up and down but this is the only diet that I was able to stick to.

Anyways, I always stick to the shakes, banana or chocolate. I find the bars make me want to eat and the soups are not for me. I like the spicy tomato but though.

How bout you? What have you tried and what do you prefer?

Oh that's great. Congrats. You do need to look great at your wedding so I completely get you.

When I first discovered CD, I was constantly weighing myself. Now I didn't at the start and I haven't yet but I'm in a positive place. We'll see what next week is like! Lol.

Do you do any exercising? I do bhangra dancing for bout 40 mins a day. Jus at home. Gets me huffing and puffing!

Have you got everything sorted for your wedding?

    Hi Hun,

Had a good read through your thread, and cam empathise on a coupel of levels.

Firstly, weight-wise, I have at least 5st to lose, just to get me to my interim goal (BMI 24.9). Will then re-assess and see if I can/want to lose more. So I'm in for a bit f a support group if the offer is still going!!

Secondly, the family thing. I have never properly got on with OH's brother, nor his fiancee, and although things have got better recently (marginally), he still makes me feel belittled and second best. Hes even recently made comments re: my weight and weight loss.

    Hope you're getting on ok!

    :)
