Anyone know what herbs and spices are allowed?

I think you're basically allowed any herbs and spices. Avoid salt though, just because it can make you hold on to water more but a little dash won't hurt if you really want it. I use garlic, cumin, coriander, chili, curry powder, pepper and mixed herbs mostly, no problems with any of those. If you by pre-mixed spices check that they don't have salt or sugar in.
 
I use any that I fancy! I don't think they'd do any harm. I'm losing anyway so that's what counts!
I'm a garlic fiend too and I've been using plenty of it. x
