Just wondering if anyone has given her DVDs a try. Read really good reviees of them on my fitness pal when I was using that and decided thay since the gym is out for me I would give them a try. I have 30 Day Shred and then Ripped in 30 Days to get through and with Christmas money I've purchased Body Revolution which is a 90 day plan so I have months of exercise waiting for me to hopefully get my slim for hitting 30!!! Starting on Monday

Can't rate Shred highly enough. I can't do it as the impact stuff plays havoc with issues I have with lower back but as someone who has trained all my life this is the real deal. Go for it!

It's fantastic! I did it after having my two boys and still do it now and it has definitely helped me get my flat stomach back. It's tough but doable coz it's only 20 minutes

Scoobysue u sound like a person who knows exercise :) Hope u don't mind me asking your advice! I do Bootcamp three nights a week and on the other nights I do the 30 day shred but I do level 3 because at this stage I find the other two a bit easy. Do u think I am doing right or should I mix it up more?

    Thanks guys!!!

I'm looking forward to starting on Monday. I work full time and I'm also studying for a degree part time so the fact that it is only half hour workouts suits me perfectly.

Couldn't sleep last night got about an hour if I'm lucky so 30DS was cast aside this morning!!! My first full shift at work since August due to my neurological issues (might get a diagnosis one day!!!) So fair to say a workout was not on the cards today...

But I done it!!! And as much as you may laugh at me all excited for a 20 minute workout... getting it done when I just wanted to curl up in bed was huge for me!!! Other than the muscle weakness from whatever is up with me my major issue right now is fatigue!!!

It's tough going and I wanted to die as I was doing it now after a nice soak in the bath I feel pretty good... sore but good!!!

    Apologies for my rambling!!!

Ive got "Slim in 6" from the same people that make Insanity and P90x but its very low impact and i love it! Only on day 6 but ive NEVER stuck to anything like this, and the results look amazing.
Plus with it being low impact i can do it in my flat! :)

Yeah I knew I was going to hurt but I have to say I didn't realise I could be that knackered or sweaty from such a short period of time!!!

Well I wanted to do it in the mornings before work but had a bit of a disaster yesterday morning with the trains so didn't do it till after 8pm... then done it again this morning so kinda my fault for doing it twice in 24 hour. Not worked out in 6 months so can't expect not to be sore!!!

Thanks for the help guys!!! XX

Bootcamp is usually a varied mix of exercise so with the Shred you are having very varied routine I would have thought. You could always alternate some of the shred days to vary intensity maybe? Lots of varying lol

Thanks Scoobysue. I remember my Bootcamp instructor saying before that variety is the best thing. Every Bootcamp class he does is different which I love. No monotony. Gonna give the shred a break for a while because I'm getting too used to it and gonna give insanity a go. Heard it's meant to be tough!
