Back for a three month Vegas countdown

Hi all!!!!!

Old time cc-er here back with my tail between my legs after losing faith in what i was doing, to-ing and fro-ing between plans, stalling for 5 months and finally realising this is what works if only i gave it a chance :)

Decided a fresh start and a new diary is the way forward, so here i am for the next 13 weeks until my awesome US road trip across tennessee then ending with a week in vegas!!! The last time i visited america i was 10st 4lb and the lightest i've ever been as an adult so am aiming for at least 10st on the dot (to leave room for manouvre ;)) which only gives me 9lb to lose! When i get there i will re asssess but i don't wanna aim to high because i tend to get over whelmed and disheartened which is when i binge and gain :( At least i know i am comfortable at this weight and all my 'skinny' clothes will fit which is a big motivator. I think i will always have the urge to be lighter but at some point I've got to settle somewhere!!

Ok enough babbling from me and here we go xx
 
Day one done and succesfully came in at 1396 calories!!! happy :)
 
Good luck im a stone heavier than you and would love to get down to 10stone as a small goal.

What have you set your daily calorie limit at? Mines 1400 but worried its a tad too high x

Thanks :) I'm aiming for 1400 and under if poss ;) I've always done 1200 and while i lost if i stuck to it, sticking to it was the problem and i would inevitably binge and give up!! trying not to focus too much on 'numbers' this time just each day at a time tracking EVERYTHING!!!!!

Wow! Im so jealous of your holiday! I wanna go back to Vegas!!

yeah it's awesome isn't it!!!? We went for the first time in 2008 and it blew me away!!! when did you go last? I'm planning on winning big in the casino and staying there ;) wouldn't be too good for my waistline but there's always surgery hahaha xx

Am hing another good day so far but did wake up with a swollen throat which is not only inconvenient but damn annoying as i have had 3 back to back colds pretty much continuously since new year :( just when i think i'm getting over one along comes another!!!!

Am going to see my nan this evening which is a weekly thing and always involves a takeaway- not the best thing for a diet but she looks forward to it so much i can't bear to say no!!! so will be having a low cal lunch and just counting the cals of said takeaway and keeping an eye on my portion sizes, i'm sure one meal won't stop me losing this week................in fact i just won't let it ;)

well another weekend comes to an end and once again i'm feeling crap after a saturday night binge drinking episode!!!!! :(which means it will probably be another 2 days before i get back on track and another week off staying the same on the scales. I'm so ashamed of having no self control when it comes to alcohol, I just can't seem to have a 'couple' once i start i keep going til i'm drunk and its 2am.

I have cut out alcohol before and am considering doing it again but i really wish i could just enjoy it in moderation like i see many other people doing! The plus sside is that next weekend i'm definately doing nothing so i WILL NOT be in this situation next sunday.............will take it one weekend at a time :) It's just not worth it!!

So i have binged on carbs all day today and still don't feel satisfied also haven't kept track of calories so dread to think how much i've consumed - pretty gutted i only lasted 2 days sticking to mygrand plan butnot in the least bit surprised!!!

Tomorrow is a new day :D
 
Hasn't been too horrific today as have been busy at work but am still tired and craving carbs big time as a side effect of my hangover!!! Gotta pull back the control as soon as possible. Only had 1413 cals today but i can't see me making it to bed time without eating something else- just trying to lomit the damage. Haven't dunk nearly enough water either so will be staying off the scales til weigh day on thurs .............not holding out much hope for a loss though (damn you wine!!!! )
 
Still feeling drained and spacey from weekend drinking and am now even more determined to cut out booze for a while and at least for a couple of days (maybe longer) cut down on carbs..............it's something thats always worked for me as my blood sugar levels are very sensitive and if i stick to it my cravings for sugar reduce quite a lot which obv cuts down on cals consumed :) Not going full on atkins style just less bread pasta potatoes cakes crisps etc etc generally all the processed crap depend on ;) will give it a go anyway


Cals at 1213 without extra snacks so should be under 1400 by end of today x

Feeling much better now and super determined to stay away from the demon drink at least for this weekend hopefully longer :) Have been around 1500 cals all this week but still feel a bit bloated so not gonna weigh now til 28th june- just before a weekend away to visit my brother in plymouth..........can't wait to get away for a while but not gonna use it as an excuse to go wildly off track!!! I promise ;)

Got a chilled weekend ahead of me with just a quiet family meal on fiday for my grandmas birthday which shouldn't be too taxing as i know there are plenty of decent optins on the menu where we're going just gotta say 'no' to the giant burgers hahaha
 
I survived the meal out- just!!! did have chips but gave away 4 onion rings to hubby scraped the cheese and sauce from my chicken breast and ate all my veg like a good girl :)

Feeling full and a little dehydrated now ( salt on my chips ;)) so will be guzzling water and nowt else til bedtime!! Oh and only drank lemonade and stil thoroughly enjoyed myself :D Just a quiet weekend at work to contend with and i shall have a successful weekend under my belt.

1723 calories - not bad considering the chips ;) xx
 
I survived the weekend booze free :D Yay me!!!!!

Did seem to eat more than usual though but at least i haven't got that horrible sluggish feeling that takes 3 days to shift and have had an under 1400 cal day today so straight back on track for me!

Gonna really go for it for the next 6 weeks, yes, even while i'm away and at the few social events i've got coming up :) if i can get a few good days under my belt it always gets much easier.........plus it's getting scarily close to bikini and shorts time!!!! No more burying my head in the sand x
 
had a bad day today, eaten loads and not tracked at all :(

My outfit for my friends burlesque themed hen party arrived this morning and while it its and looks ok it wll look even better and i will feel so much more comfortable if i could finally lose some weight! If i don't i think i'll be too uncomfortable to wear it and i can't afford to buy an alternative!!!

So I've got 7 weeks from saturday to really make a difference...............i can't believe i keep messing this up x
 
had a great weekend!!!!

Stuck to cals 100% and even had a few drinks watching the football last night ( single vodka lime and soda :)) Didn't get drunk but enjoyed myself and woke up feeling good this morning (unlike hubby ha!)

Got 4 days til we go to plymouth to visit my big brother so just gonna stick to my cals til then and just enjoy my weeekend but no need to go over board. Will be doing plenty of walking and won't be bored at all which is when i normally binge so should be ok :D
